I had a super-smooth, easy, reassuring experience with Homeward Legal and would happily recommend using them. The process is fair and transparent. They turn things around extremely quickly, rates are reasonable and Christopher was very helpful with my (many!) queries.

My purchase fell through and true to their word they did not recharge me for searches. Easy to get hold of. Helpful staff. Don't be surprised if the solicitor they allocate is not geographically close - they use other metrics in their matches.

Charles has been extremely professional and friendly. The service is excellent and quick. Would definitely recommend Homeward!

I am a cash buyer , having sold my house in Spain in January 2019 . I wanted a " NO FUSS " approach to my legal obligations, and felt that I did not need a lot of " Hand Holding " . So in the beginning I had a phone call and laid out my requirements , which we agreed . All my dealings to be via internet , no visits to a Solicitors office . Then a prompt call from my "solicitor to be " and we have begun .

Joshua from Homeward Legal was helpful, informative & friendly, but unfortunately the firm of solicitors who carried out the legal side of my house purchase were everything but informative & friendly. They were very hard to deal with

Kevin was of great help, being a first time buyer he explained to me the process and allowed me to talk about any concerns I had about the process. He allowed me the time to process and think about the steps without pressuring me into a decision, but did always follow up with me. I really appreciate this, I would recommend to friends and family and would like to Thank him for his time.

The telephone service is polite but be aware of hidden charges from Homeward Legal. You will receive a cheaper quote from them, but you will pay a few hundred pounds more than the quote. You will also be assigned to a different company (Homeward's partner) to deal with your conveyancing. UPDATE: After writing the above review, I have been contacted promptly and received the refund as the additional money I paid for the searches. I have now been compensated for this and Homeward Legal's service is very efficient. I have updated this review to rectify the issues.

This firm is not a conveyancer I think and they put you in touch with another solicitor after you instruct them. This is not clear on thier website. It is also not clear that their fees is divided into a no win no fee component etc. I had MAJOR issues becuase of this. I complained and then no response, but later the senior managers did respond and sorted things out. However the pressure to change the review was on. Like a fool I did change it. However I think people should know what this company is like. Dont use them better to take Gazumping insurance from somewhere. I never received any response to my complaint (as they claimed they will send). Once the review was changed it all ended. I thought they will learn.

Mark was proactive and helpful from first contact and when I told him I had sold my house he put me in touch with my solicitor at once. He was very pleasant to deal with and has a good sense of humour. My solicitor has been in touch and all seems to be going well

Awful. THEY ARE SIMPLY PASSING YOUR DETAILS TO A RANDOM SOLICITORS FIRM ANYWHERE IN THE COUNTRY FOR A HUGE FEE. I simply filled a form online to get quotes to buy. I get a quote, a call, a further quote and decide to use. THEN I get an email from the Solicitor. NOT LOCAL AS PROMISED. I call the solicitor to ask what the remainder of my bill is. 'ALL' my bill is outstanding. By this time I've paid £120 and then £485. When I question this apparently it's for some guarantee if my purchase falls through that i knew nothing about and didn't want and the rest for the searches. So to summarise.... Not local solicitor as promised. Charges for things never discussed. Extortionate charge for Search pack £485 (Search pack with new local solicitor £280) I've had an email saying I'm getting a refund as I've cancelled within the first 7 days. Let see how long this takes. I will be making a formal complaint for wasting my valuable time. Edit after reply: Looking into my feedback as a matter of priority? I suggest your company adopts a transparent and honest approach in the way they carry out their business instead of charging people for simply passing their details to random solicitors! The legal Ombudsman will receive my complaint in due course.

Kevin is a very knowlegable point of contact, answered all questions precisely. This is my first contact with Homeward Legal and it has been an enjoyable one. As a developer, I will be contacting Kevin for my future property needs.
