United Kingdom | 09 April 2024I have had my money in tandem bank for almost a year and have had no major issues. As with other reviews I did recently request a withdrawal of my account in the new tax year but it took slightly longer than normal just because a lot of other people were likely moving their money to ISAs. They informed me that it would take longer than normal when logging into the app and in an automated message when calling. When I got through on the phone a friendly lady advised it would be complete later today which it has been. Would recommend and depending on interest rates I would be happy to keep my money with them. This was all then followed up with an apology email recognising the issue (which was minimal and only a day or so delayed) and a goodwill payment

I know you will learn from your mistakes, but I've lost money, I've been left red faced and embarrassed. Cheerio

United Kingdom | 09 April 2024I have been a Tandem customer for 2 years. This week there has been a big problem with delayed withdrawals from Tandem. With faster payment it should be instant. My money was in limbo for over 24 hours and Tandem communication was terrible. I will be closing my account.

United Kingdom | 09 April 2024Tandem Bank are clearly experiencing massive issue, which is delaying outbound payments for days. They are choosing to provide no information at all to customers other than "we will fix ASAP". This is unhelpful. They appear to be trying to cover up the problem by not making any public announcement, which is disappointing. Banks prosper based on excellent services, great customer service and above all trust. They have lost my trust.

United Kingdom | 09 April 2024I have been waiting 2 days for a transfer of funds from Tandem to my nominated account - what is going on. The app will not open a chat window saying no one is available ?

United Kingdom | 09 April 2024Whilst disappointed that a recent transfer is still being processed, the lady I spoke to (Claire) was extremely helpful and assured me that the transfer will be completed today. An ex gratia offer of lost interest is being paid as a result. Handled very well thank you.

United Kingdom | 09 April 2024Unfortunately like other reviews, it’s been 24 hours since I requested a considerable sum of money from my account and even though it has been deducted from my Tandem account, it still hasn’t arrived in my linked account. A short time frame was required, so not being able to transfer the funds within it, is going to have a negative financial effect. In this day and age, this is unacceptable.

The sum was deducted from the app balance immediately and it's now been 48 hours and no sign of the money appearing in my linked current account. We needed the money yesterday so have been let down badly. I'm getting increasingly concerned. The money has now landed in my account.

Tried to phone twice but wait times so long had to give up - not good enough & very worrying since I need this money urgently.

United Kingdom | 09 April 2024Tandem appears to have suffered an IT failure which has lasted nearly 48 hours so far with no real way of contacting anyone. Large payment withdrawn Sunday which despite being deducted has not reached my bank account. Large number of other customers report similar issues so seems like an IT issue they cannot fix but this is not a satisfactory way to run a bank.

United Kingdom | 09 April 2024Very disappointed that my withdrawal requested on Sunday still has not been credited to my bank account Update 10/04/2024: I have up-rated my review from 1 to 4 stars due to the prompt reply from Tandem and the general compensation given to customers impacted by the recent withdrawal issue. Normally transfers from Tandem to one of my linked bank accounts happen within minutes, which coupled with the competitive interest rate is why I hold a Tandem account.

No details provided on app as to when payments will be settled. Poor communication and concerns now about the security of this digital bank.

United Kingdom | 09 April 2024Requested withdrawal deducted from Tandem account but not appeared in bank account 24 hours later. Really shaken my confidence in Tandem. They blame it on some sort of internal error. Put in complaint as needed these funds within a timeframe. Not good enough really so doubt I'll be staying with them.

This has caused me quite a few problems and maybe charges for late payments. I’d been really happy with Tandem until now but I’m starting to lose faith….

United Kingdom | 09 April 2024I tried to transfer some money this morning. I checked this evening and still no money. Went back to tandem. There is a red box stating money will be transferred soon as possible. If my money is not in account by midnight I will incur charges. Thanks Tandem. I will be moving my money to chase now. They now offer 5.1% and are much more reliable. As of 10:08 this morning, still no money. Tandem you owe me interest.

United Kingdom | 09 April 2024Tried to transfer money to my connected bank account yesterday but haven’t received the sum after 24 hours. Customer service said this would have been sorted within 2-24 hours but it hasn’t been sorted out and now business is closed. This is unacceptable for an app based bank.
