I fell in love with the Italian 14 karat gold and green enamel leaf ring as a promise ring because we are crazy about the woods. I've just received it for my Valentine's Day gift today. It is far lighter than I expected. I expected a heavier weightier ring. I feel like if I were to drop this or step on it it would just smash flat. However it is beautiful.

I got a strand of black pearls, but they were the worst pearls I’d ever seen in a necklace. Absolutely no luster, no iridescence- it looked like Onyx. I do like Onyx, but that was not what I was expecting.

The item was what I expected it to be, and look to be a good quality. I was, however, disappointed in the presentation of the item instead of a nice jewelry box it was delivered in a plastic bag inside a little pouch instead.

It's smaller than I expected. The picture makes look a lot bigger. Not happy with my purchase.

The bracelet I ordered was just what I expected and was packaged very nicely. My daughter absolutely loves the bracelet.

My two daughters and I received necklaces from my Dad for Christmas which are not our style. Though we can exchange them, we were told that my 100 year old father would be notified because it is his account. None of us want to upset him. If we were trying to charge him more for something else, I could see the reason for that. But since these were gifts and we could do an even exchange or get a gift card, I see no reason for notifying him. Based on this policy I will suggest to my Dad that he not purchase anything else from Ross-Simons.
