I had Bob and Eric install my windows they were professional, on time, explained the process, and took great care with my personal property. Trust me when I say these windows were a nightmare to get out…. The previous installers must of used gorilla glue when they were installed. Through the hard work of Bob and Eric they got them out and the new ones are in and absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! As a female I loved that they treated me with respect and honesty. Great job guys! We are returning customers to Universal Windows Direct. Our first experience was during covid when we replaced 8 windows and it was great, aside from the installers not wearing masks despite my requests to do so since I was pregnant. We are currently under contract with them to have 4 more windows replaced. This time around has been terrible and we will not be doing business with them again. Since signing the contract two weeks ago, they have called my husband three different times during the day to set up a measurement appt. We made it clear that he cannot answer his phone during the day due to the nature of his job. He has answered every time and told them to call his wife. My husband verified the phone number with them each time. They state that they have tried to call me but have not. I have no missed calls, no voicemails from them. Now, as I have taken the initiative and called them repeatedly to set up the appointment, they are sending me to a customer service voicemail. They are not returning my messages and they will not connect me with an actual person. My husband was told that this delay in scheduling the measurement is now going to push back the installation date, which is already two months from signing the contact. To be lied to about being contacted, not answering/returning our calls, and then being told there is now going to be a delay is unacceptable.

The techs(Ryan) that came were awesome!! Very nice and very efficient!! They cleaned up and very helpful answering questions!! My windows look beautiful!!

Devin spent all day at our house as we are in the middle of remodeling our home. He had expert advice based on being in the business over 20 years with what would work best. We loved the explanation on the efficiency and how the energy star rated products will help lower the energy costs for our home. He was honest and very knowledgeable on all the products. We can’t wait to see the transformation our home will make !

Don’t deal with them. This was the most ridiculous experience I have ever had with a sales man. My mom an I went out an he immediately spoke down to us an basically made us feel like we were stupid that we thought we could get windows installed for less than 1,000 per window. When he hadn’t even seen any of the small ones we wanted done. Also ask him about the buy 2 get 2 free that the lady told me about on the phone an he blew me off an said you are expecting to pay 500 dollars a window an that’s just not the case. ( when I never mentioned a number I was willing or not willing to pay. ) An I basically called my mom a liar when she told him something about her one window. 3 times he pointed in her face and told her that there’s no way that that’s true. I looked at him and told him that he can stop wasting our time and I won’t waste his. He will not be walking into our home. We may have been two women, but we’re not stupid. When I was originally called to ask if we wanted to book a free estimate. I told the woman that we had done some other renovations, that they cost us more than expected and we really weren’t looking for windows, but we would gladly get an estimate just to see what we were looking at. When he came he could have come measured. Shown us windows an then given us a price an if it would have been out of price range … fine no big deal. We wouldn’t do it. But he was degrading an basically thought we were ignorant woman an he was “the man”. Ugh would have never let him in my house an im a very open person. Kept telling us to measure the window an go see what piece of garbage window we could find at Home Depot. You will not sell me something once you are disrespectful towards my mom. The installers, Mike and Dan, were very efficient. They cleaned up after themselves and were polite and friendly. We are very happy with the appearance of our new windows and front door!!

Universal Windows Direct did an amazing job replacing my old, 1911 windows. From the initial consultation to measuring to install day, everyone was professional and courteous. The installment team worked fast and precise. Joe, Jessie and Cody worked impressively together and were mindful of keeping some of the old character of the house intact. Aric and his son are AMAZING installers! They were speedy, efficient, kind, and dang good at their job! Our new windows are perfect and we’re so grateful to have had them install them for us! Also, the windows are the best quality you can get! Truly top notch product!

The process was pretty easy , chose the doors we wanted , measurements were taken and verified. We were updated on a regular basis during the manufacture process and when the doors were ready we were contacted and installation scheduled just a couple of days later and installation took less than day to complete. Only issue was one set of hardware was not correct but temp set was installed and will be replaced in the next week or so. Installers were great and cleaned up everything and hauled the old parts away.

Installers were very courteous and did a great job installing my new bathroom window. I am very pleased with the work that was done.

Installers were efficient and capable. The windows went in quickly and they cleaned up after themselves. We are quite pleased with the windows too.

The 2 gentleman arrived by 4:15 and were done by 6pm. The install was quick and my window looks better than the original. I appreciate their attention to detail. They took the old one and cleaned the work area up. I was extremely please with the vinyl window caps vs the aluminum ones that were there before. Makes it a much clearer look. They provided a beautiful door, but it arrived and was installed late. Communication was poor and non existent. Trim was wrong color and screen door was wrong, opening from the wrong side. They did our windows during covid and the experience was okay. This was awful, however.

All the negative reviews you read are true. Our salesman Ricky was not only a liar, he was incompetent as well. We received a quote to have every window replaced in our house. We specifically asked how they counted the bay windows with 3 small windows on top and Ricky told us it was counted as one window. Installation came and went and they did not replace the 3 small windows we specifically asked about. We got in contact with Jason, the area sales manager and told him about the issue. He told us it would normally be $3,600 but if we gave them a 5 star review they would offer us the employee pricing of $3,000. Insulting. These windows are small (please see photo) and $3,000 seems outrageous, especially when it was their mistake. We had other issues with the company before this, lied to about when financing would start, hour late for the measuring appointment after my wife left work early to work with their schedule etc… they are also very unresponsive. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company.
