Our vet referred our pet dog to a hospital recently as an emergency. We were stunned to discover there is no cover for emergencies only a limit for each condition. Our cover was set at £2000 per condition per year which is pretty poor given the cost of the policy is £650. We've had to find £4000 to pay the hospital and are also having to pay £1000 per month for medication and checkups. If you do insure with Vetusre particularly if you have a dog £2000 will get you nowhere as we have discovered. Insure to the highest level you can.

Baxter was poorly and we had to take him to the vets a few times, having pet insurance has really helped with the bills, as this is going to be a long term illness, it now just gives us peace of mind that most of his medication will be paid for, thank you vetsure for also keeping us upto date with how the claims were going

Our dog Monty had been seeing the vet and it turned out after blood tests he is allergic to everything outside. This is now managed by medication. It’s so easy as our vet submits the claim and then we get an email just to verify the claim so no lengthy form filling! We have both our dogs insured and would highly recommend! Michele Simpson

Cassie has had a lot of on going claims with vetsure she is 14. Always so easy to deal with through our vet. Very happy with vetsure can recommend them wouldn't have my fur babies with anyone else.

Claim process a little unwieldy and slow but ultimately gets settled

Having looked at the comments on TrustPilot for various pet ins companies I was initially impressed with Vetsure Pet Insurance so went online for a quote and found the premiums were acceptable, how ever after phoning vetsure and asking whether my premiums would go up if one of my kittens contracted a lifelong illness I was told, yes that is one of the reasons your premiums might be increased. Whilst I commend your representatives honesty I could not recommend any company that would do this as in effect you could put up my premiums to the extent that they were unaffordable just when I needed the insurance most.

I made a claim after my dog required biopsies and removal of a growth on his paw. Claim form was really simple to fill in, my claim was dealt with really quickly and the communication was swift so I knew what was going on at all times. The claim was paid into my account within a week of being notified.

Just signed up with vetsure earlier this year for my three cats they were competitive price wise and little did I know but I would need to make a claim not long after signing up. They cleared my claim and paid direct to my vets no problem what do ever. They mailed and kept me in the loop regarding my claim would highly recommend

No qualms about paying out. Dealt with the vets direct so did not have to pay then wait for money back. Also kept me up to date with the status of the claims- Alex wood/flash!

Very friendly people, who really do care, they do help my dog and myself, big thank you for this ❤️❤️❤️ I only gave 4 stars not 5 because of the claims processing time.The waiting time is over two weeks since they receive a claim and then up to 5 days waiting for the money.I think is ok with a complicated once but with a very simple once it should be faster.

We've been with Vetsure for our 3rd year now, being they are connected to our vet incase the worst happens gives us piece of mind. We have always had a great service from all involved when our dog got sick. Payback was quick and easy and there is help on hand via the Vetsure staff.
