Ireland | 07 December 2023I find flogas employees most helpful and courteous on the couple of occasions I've needed support. They took the time and interest and I felt my custom was important. I deducted one star due to the fact I had no opportunity to forward a meter reading prior to receiving an estimated bill. I think this needs addressing to improve customer satisfaction.

Ireland | 05 December 2023I had an issue recently when changing from Flo gas to another supplier. It was both gas and electric and only gas was processed for some reason. The new supplier said it was a Flo gas issue. I was bounced between the 2 initially so was very frustrated. Eventually got talking to a Flo gas staff member called Kenneth. He was excellent, although I was no longer going to be a Flo gas customer he was very kind and helpful On the phone and agreed to look into the issue for me. He did do that for me, and came back to me with an answer on the day he promised he would. I would definitely come back to flo gas for my power and gas next year based mostly on the positive customer experience I had with Kenneth. Thanks. Aoife Bagnall.

Ireland | 05 December 2023I received an email Oct 24th that my gas would increase from €80 per month to €153 per month even though I was in 'CREDIT' of €275.62. And a letter stating my Electricity would increase from €120 per month to €264 pm - I kid you not! I rang on the 26th of Oct, and I was assured this was a mistake and I was told €264 would 'NOT' be taken from my account. I asked for a complaint to be raised to find out how and why this happened and to ensure this would never happen again as I am too busy to be spending time on this or risk my account being debited over twice as much as was agreed when I signed up in June when they had calculated the PAY PLAN AMOUNTS. On the call it also came to light that my rates were too high, and I had them reduced (Electric 41.13c unit rate c to 32.79c unit & the Standing Charge from .76c per day to .64cc unit) They advised me that I would get a reply within 20 working days of receipt of the complaint - that was another red flag! No urgency to provide customer satisfaction. HOWEVER, on the 14th of November my account was debited (ROBBED) of the €264 they had promised not to take and that I instructed them I did not consent to. I called on 041 214 9500 to request a refund ASAP however there was no answer after 10-minute wait, so I emailed them requesting the same. By the 17th of November there was still no reply. I called again and spoke t a rep. I gave her a summary of the issue and requested to speak to a manager as I was not prepared to speak to another representative - I wanted to escalate The rep told me she felt very disrespected and insulted as I would not allow her to try to help sort out the issue. So, there you have it - it's all about the rep now. So, I finished the call and emailed instead - requesting a manger call back and a summary of the issue. A manager replied on the 21st of Nov at 5.51pm - 17 WORKING days after I raised the complaint. She offered €30 on both the gas and electric account as a goodwill gesture. HOWEVER, she would not refund my €264 they stole from my account! Not only that but she went on to say the monthly Electricity Plan would stay at €264. WOW! So FLOGAS will take money whether you like it or not and will lie to you to make sure it’s there for them when they come to collect. She told me to contact the credit team if I had an issue with that which she already knows I do OR to let her know if I wish to ESCALATE which again - she knows I DO! I advised the manager to escalate my complaint ... again. She assured me I would have a response within 10 working days of 21/11/2023. So now its 30 working days since my complaint. On the 30th of Nov a senior manager emailed me and basically said she agreed with the manager. Another FLOGAS rep happy to rob me of €264 after being promised it would not be taken. I asked to speak to a director and pointed out I am not accepting her €30 bribes. Robbing money from my account is very serious. Also, that more issues have come to light. For example, on the 26th of Oct my rates and charges were decreased. The increase FLOGAS calculated to my payment plan from €120 to €264 was made prior to 26th Oct. Why have FLOGAS not recalculated changes in payment plan based on the new rates and charges? Why am I pointing this out? + The government are to apply €450 in credits over the coming months. Why have these not been factored into FLOGAS calculations? Why have my last direct debits amounts not been deducted from the current bill? That €264 has not yet come off my bill would you believe! I did not receive my €300 WELCOME PACK. Only €150 was applied to my gas but the other €150 was not applied to my electricity. The senior manager replied and told me to take it to the CRU. Lovely! What a bunch of cowboys! Read all the other 1-star reviews - FLOGAS are doing this a lot. Don't switch to FLOGAS - THEY WILL ROB YOU! Now I must spend even more time raising this with the CRU. Update 21lst Dec - A rep replied to this review on the 5th saying she would look into this. WELL SHE HASN'T They did however find the time to make complaints to trustpilot about my review displaying names of the flogas representatives I've dealt with to date. And also found the time to send me a letter to tell me my direct debit failed - even though I told them DD is never going to be available to them again after they used it to rob me the last time.
