Ireland | 22 June 2022I originally was with BE Energy, but they sold to Flo Gas. Obtaining detailed bills on the website was challenging. After repeated steep rate increases, I switched providers. Flo Gas over charged me through direct debit. I've called 3 times over the last 4 months and still no refund. They admit there is a refund due but have no idea when a refund will be issued. They say there is a large back load. Something is not right with this company. Update: Received refund on 4th July to my surprise and gratefulness.

Ireland | 11 May 2022Shocking bills, refusing to credit the government credit. Was with them for many years, suddenly I went from receiving bills for 160 per month to 700! Rip off, will never return. Flogas should have realised that by ripping off people they just began their own demise

Ireland | 11 April 2022Horrible company to deal with. Are avoiding paying back credit balances on my accounts since December last year. Behaving as if they are in serious financial difficulty. My next move will be to protest outside their offices to hopefully attract the attention of the media. Never have anything to do with them. NEVER.

Ireland | 06 April 2022An absolute joke. Have emailed 4 times, no response. Waited 40 minutes on hold to be hung up on when someone eventually answered. Didn't get our last bill advising the date our direct debit would be withdrawn, didn't have sufficient funds in that particular account as we didn't know they were going to try take a direct debit. Our bank charged us for a failed direct debit and flogas also charged us + vat!!!! Absolute joke. Horrendous customer service. Moving as soon as our year is up.

Ireland | 30 March 2022I'm with flo gas over 5 years. Never had many issues but having an issue since October (last) 2021 paying Bill's online which enforces me to phone every week to make a payment. Very inconvenient as I do be waiting on the phone for up to 40 minutes. They say they are having techniqual issue and I asked several times for a manager to call me but no response. I had enough and just changed providers. Terrible customer service. Wouldnt go back and there rates have rocketed sky high also.

Ireland | 20 March 2022absolutely no regard for customers,they have made the worst possible experience. extremely high rates, I have health problems and cannot afford to be sent a massive bill with no notice of the extreme rate changes. I will live a life with no electricity but will never return to Flogas.

Ireland | 18 March 2022I would not recommend Flogas to anyone. I was locked out of my account for over 2 months, was not able to access it to check my bills or to make payment's nothing. I rang 4 times in one week to try get it sorted and was told each time yeah in 24 hours it should be fixed. I also rang every week and spoke with a manager who stated she would get it fixed and revert back to me and never heard anything. The increase in there price's is disgraceful and the company should be ashamed of them selves. I am a single mother to one so not that much electricity is used in my house I have managed to pay all my bills on time and keep them down around €100-€150 before joining with Flogas however, since the middle of November (17 WEEKS) I have spent nearly €900 euro on electricity alone. I do not have gas or oil in my house. I live in a freezing cold house all winter as I am not able to afford bills like this. I am no longer able to sustain my bills I had to terminate my contract early and was issued with a bill for €462.00 euro. I can express how angry and disgusted I am at a company for allowing this.

Ireland | 14 March 2022Very expensive prices stay clear, received a bill for €920 for two months when all previous bills were around €300 maximum!customer service team are difficult to get through to and offer no help and just blame usage! Stay clear worst gas company I have dealt with.

Ireland | 08 March 2022I have been with this company for two years with similar bills each month €450 per month I have just received a bill for over €3,000 they can't even prove to me where this bill arose and will do nothing to correct this for me ! All they could say was the prices increased, how can a bill be this much more than the usual amount? Stay away , cannot get this rectified by flogas !!!

Ireland | 08 March 2022Stay away from them. My contract ended last september, didnt got any notice and from that Time they charge me double tariff for gas. I got bill for 800e for 4 months. That is really bad. STAY AWAY dont even get close to them.

Ireland | 15 February 2022No one to answer you in customer care. They will answer immediately if you ring sales though. Extremely expensive & should of moved away from them sooner. Please improve your customer care team & stop hanging up on customers waiting only a half hour on hold. So unprofessional. Shop around before you consider this company (they used to have great prices, but not anymore).

Ireland | 11 February 2022I changed from flogas, never had a problem until I moved. While moving to another provider i was asked for day and night readings. Which i gave however i typed day in for night and night for day. This resulting in a bill for over 2000eu on the eve of 8th of feb. So i called flogas customer service about it on the 10th of feb. They said nothing they could do that i would have to give my proper readings to my new electricity supplier then they would update it. They were aware of the overbilling. So i contacted my new electricity supplier immediatly but they needed a time stamped photo of the meter readings, because i was at work this wasnt possible. I taught not to worry i would do this on the 11th of feb when i was off work. Following morning i woke up checked my balance as i was expecting work payment. Seen flo gas had debited 1600eu from my account not over 2000 because i already had credit on my account. But i was in complete shock that 1600eu was taken out without any consent or warning. Following this i called flogas customer care and after about 10minutes of being told that its ok for them to do this the service support member noticed that i didnt even get 2 weeks to pay my final bill i got 2 days. She then said she will query this with her billing team. Waited to hear back from them got nothing. Sent 2 emails no reply. A disgraceful way to treat people especially when its all over the news about the price of living and the government giving money to help people in our situation. Especially when i called about the overbilling situation. Flogas i am awaiting a reply an apology and my money back

Ireland | 04 February 2022i was sent a letter to say my discount contract ends the 28th January and i will be reverted to normal pricing and i could switch to other provider if i wish. i did switch to another provider, the new provider sent end of contract 4 DAYS before the 28th and FLOGAS charged me 40 EURO exit free, i called to try solve the problem but no help was offered to me. i cant believe it. 4 DAYS before end of contract and they charged me exit fee at this hard financial year and they are not compassionate in any way. I DONT THINK I WILL COME BACK

The customer service has no communication between themselves, I've moved county and transferred my account there(spoke with the agent over the phone) but after some times I started to get the letters about disconnection of electricity from electric Ir. Apparently Flogas didn't processed this correctly. I rang them straight away but the other agent didn't have any idea what had happened. She also said that they are not covering/servicing Kildare, so the transfer wasn't possible. Okay, I asked them to close my account, which she said she'll do. After a week I rang again for update and spoke now with the third agent and she had NO IDEA about me closing the account last week, also she said that they do servise Kildare and she can just transfer me if I wish. It was like talking to the wall, each time different story! I insisted to close my account, she apologised and said that the refund will be issued soon. 2months later now I didn't receive my 94 euro refund. Lady called Denise communicating routinely with me over the email, but no result. I'm intend to make a complain to CRU. Dont recommend FLOGAS, don't even start with them, it's big mess..

Ireland | 14 December 2021Swapped to this company last year as was told online I would save money. First bill was the same as old provider then jumped 45 euro each bill there after? Called and said prices have went up but not 40 percent. Swapped back to old supplier after contract ended and bills back to original price one year later. Do not swap or use them as there useless and way over priced

United Kingdom | 06 October 2021I signed up to Budget Energy NI - part of Flogas - following a sales call to my door and was to receive paperwork in a few days after which there was a 14 day cooling off period if I wished to change my mind. Since that I’ve heard nothing. I don’t know where I am or how to contact them. Not satisfactory. I wish I’d seen these reviews. Had I done so I wouldn’t have bothered. As it was I was happy to sign knowing about the cooling off period.
