I had a question regarding my latest invoice, so I called FloGas Customer Service. I had prepared myself for endless hours of waiting in queue, but nope! Happy days, the call was taken within a few seconds, and when I stated my question, the friendly agent (Marc) forwarded my call (also took a few seconds to be taken) to friendly agent Lauren. My question was answered directly and competently, no issue whatsoever. This kind of customer service is 100 times better than many other ones I had to contact in the past. Hearing a recording for ages that "due to increased call numbers..." or similar really makes me angry. If there is too much work for your staff, hire more people! It's not rocket science! Anyway, I'm delighted with the service at FloGas. Well done, lads. :)

They failed to notify me that my 12 month contract was up and proceeded to bill me for the next period (2-3 months) at double the rate. I don't see how a company this size (or any company in 2023) cannot have an automated system to remind customer to renew or even the option to auto renew. This kind of business practice takes advantage of people who are busy or simply forget and is disingenuous.

up until the most recent bill we have had no issue with Flogas, our bill suddenly double. I called customer care and was told that our contract was up and that because of this our unit rate has changed. I asked why nobody attempted to contact us to renew our contract, which we would have been happy to do. I was told that a letter was sent (never received a letter) and that I could now renew but that they couldn't back date the unit rate!! no phone call or email from the retention team. needless to say I will not be renewing. *UPDATE* 04/01/2024 I have submitted the requested additional account information as requested and have still not received any further correspondence from Flogas.

Moved after 40 years from Electric Ireland due to price. The CS team are friendly but the portal and customer usage data is non-existent. They will tell you to go to the ESB network to calculate your usage. You have no way of checking realtime data on Flogas and no predictive way to see if spending is going overboard. I have moved away from Flogas after 2 months and paid the cancellation 50 euros.

I signed up with Flogas in May 2023 for a property i use 4 evenings a week with light electricity usage: lights, tv and sometimes the kettle. The bill is calculated every 2 months and my first bill was 30euros in August but they sent a bill for 870euros for October! I rang straight away on 6th October and was told that its an estimated bill. I argued that this couldnt possibly be correct given my light usage. I was advised to send a picture of the meter that day so they could correct the usage. I did that and heard nothing back for a week. Next bill was sent and it was for 610euros, again a massive overestimation. I contacted Flogas by mail outlining the issue and they told me that my starting meter reading was 79037 when in fact it was 80512, a difference of 1475kwH which is enormous. And now reading reviews of this company its a regular thing where they overcharge the estimate and use that money for company purposes whilst crediting your account fir the remainder of your contract, an illegal and shocking act against their customers. I explained to the girl my initial meter reading was actually 80512 but she wouldnt accept that until i sent in a picture as proof...surely they could just pull up my application form when i joined and get the reading from there? Why would they need a picture? Good thing o had a picture from Day 1 so i sent it on and asked them to cancel the 610euros direct debit which they did and asked them to recalculate the bill with the correct meter readings. They said ESBN would be notified on 12th Oct (i still have this email) of the correct reading and the bill recalculated. When i asked for an update on 24th October they said ESBN still didnt respond so when I asked again the following day i was told the email was only sent out the previous day!!! So it wasnt sent on 12th Oct at all. This is an absolutely disgraceful way to treat a customer and the mistake is 100% on your end and its now 2nd November and i havent heard one thing back about this issue. Im contacting my solicitor today about this as i would never sign up with Flogas if i knew they treat their customers this way.

I moved into my new house and the electricity was completely disconnected my wife has a medical condition and the team went above and beyond to get me reconnected that day , which can take from 5 to 7 working days . Can't say enough about what they did for us the whole team was wonderful.

Hi, I'm a new Flogas customer and I have recently received my 1st estimated bill for the period of 21/07 to 21/09. I live in a 50mq apartment and they sent me 872 euro estimated bill for 2 moths during the summer time (clearly no house heating going on), this is not an estimation, this is a clear attempt to get a loan on customer accounts. Therefore I called them to understand how they can possibly think that a small apartment can use 2500 kw/h in 2 months. After various attempts to convince me to let them keep the money and work on credit for next bills, they have assured me that they will stop the debit for this bill and they will issue a new bill with the correct readings. They also multiple time told me to remember to call them back as soon as the new correct bill will be released, in order to reactivate the direct debit in my bank account. As of today 17th Oct the original 872euro bill was due and it has been debited in my account. In conclusion not only they force you to pay a no-sense amount in advance but they also trick you instructing their customer support to give false information in regard the payments. Very unprofessional and sad. I'm extremely disappointed by the whole service overall and the unprofessional attitude of their customer support.
