Ireland | 12 October 2023We switched to flogas in February and part of our contract was a €150 welcome bonus. It is now October and this still has not been deducted from a bill. I have been told twice that it’s coming in the next bill, and I was also told twice that I was not entitled to it despite it being in black and white in our contract and welcome email. I was also told there was a big backlog in paying out welcome bonuses- it seems like I’m told something different each time depending on who I’m talking to. The last contact I had they were asking for proof we were supposed to get this bonus. I sent them on proof and nothing since? Their connection and service is good, their online portal is not really optimised for mobile devices which can be a little annoying. The customer service are always very nice but not able to help.

Ireland | 11 October 2023We are a company with 35 gas meters in a building, we transferred to a fixed 12 month contract with FloGas, the process was made very simple by the excellent telephone support from support staff Massie, in grouping all our MRPNs under one online account and one bill, making our accounts processing very simple. They were quick, responsive, professional, and took a day to complete the steps. We not have online access to all our accounts under one email logon.

Ireland | 06 October 2023Having an absolute nightmare trying to deal with Flogas. My partner was dealing with a very incompetent employee who has not helped us at all to sort our gas. We are trying to change from a Flogas pre pay meter to a normal meter. It has been about 6 weeks now and we haven't even had a person from Gas networks come to change our meter. I am due a baby in 2 weeks and we have no heating or hot water. Would not recommend Flogas. Very stressful to deal with. The latest information we have received is it will take a other 6 weeks and we received a letter welcoming the person who used to live here over 8 months ago back to them!

Ireland | 19 September 2023Back on 31st August I called asking for Flogas to credit back to me €300 from my account as I was nearly €600 in credit. I was told this would be processed but could take 2 weeks. On 14th September I called again and was told that it would take 3 weeks for the credit to be paid. I called again today only to be told it actually takes 8 weeks to receive back a credit!!! This is totally unacceptable, so for anyone looking to move to Flogas, do yourself and your bank account a favour and don't bother.

Ireland | 09 September 2023Customer service is very bad, even when you have a legitimate query that the regular staff cannot answer they will not allow you to speak to a manager. The person answering the phone just kept repeating herself without listening to the problem properly. After requesting to speak to a manager I was told no one is available, I eventually received an email which still did not address my problem properly, and when I tried again I got another email that said that I could wait up to 20 days for a reply. What a joke. Welcome to the world of AI where if you don't fit into their little boxes you are ignored.

Ireland | 08 September 2023I received a threatening letter 2 years after I switched from flo gas.The letter said I owed €230 from 2 years ago and if I don't pay right away they will send it to collection agency. I called them and asked for a bill to be sent to me to outline what the money was for and they said to email and ask for a bill. I have emailed and have got no reply. Now my credit rating will be affected and I have to pay the money without receiving a bill for it . I would strongly recommend not to do business with Flow Gas.
