United States | 10 July 2024I purchased a red pocket sim card. Just tried to activate. Their system is tricky and manipulative. It asked for my name address and birthdays and age. Then it asked for my icci number, imie number, then asked for my card number, then for a phone number... I entered in my cc number made a mistake on the security code. Contacted them immediately asked them to assist me with changing the mistake they told me no and they block you from accessing your payment information so that you can never cancel. I am going to cancel my card and get another. I dont like businesses like this... This is a shady business... scamm is written all over is. Public Beware, Do not Buy, do not use

United States | 09 July 2024I've had their service for about 4 years now. Their plans have changed A LOT and unlimited data is not unlimited anymore. I signed up with them back when they offered 100 Gigs data. The last couple of years their "unlimited" data plan has a max of 30 Gigs and after that it's not even throtled, it just doesn't work! Unless you buy an expensive add on. It was somewhat tolerable and I hadn't had any major issues with them until recently. First of all, if you sign up for their service, NEVER use your real name or card numbers!!! Their system stores the latest card info you use and is programmed to set up the account under auto pay automatically. There is no way to delete your card info from your Redpocket account, nor can customer service delete it on their end. You can only deactivate or activate auto pay. Other than that your cc# becomes a hostage. I recommend using a virtual card (like ENO from Capital1), or a prepaid visa gift card that can't go through unless it has the funds. Dumb me, had used my real cc#. I just ancelled it and ordered a brand new card with a different cc#, which i will NEVER use to pay at Redpocket. On 07/07/2024 i got an email from redpocket stating a charge of $260 for an annual plan on one of my lines was successful. WHAT?! I had just renewed that specific line 2 months earlier. Then, within a minute, another email from redpocket came in stating a refund was issued, which can take up to 10 days to post 🙄. It seems to me there may be some fraudulent activity going on, where employees with access to financial data may be testing cards on file to see if they are active so they can use or to sell the numbers. This is a BIG charge to just put through out of the blue on a line that is active with 10 more months of prepaid service. Sadly, these types of companies are a huge fraud risk. I'm getting ready to ditch them for Visible from Verizon, they offer 50 Gigs of data/month, unlimited hotspot for $25/month for new lines and they also offer annual plans. Redpocket has become into a burdensome, third world risk not worth taking. So, be warned and be careful.

United States | 07 July 2024It used to be good, until they decided to change the payment method system. "To avoid fraud" they add a security system that rejects your card (Visa) if it doesn't match to your physical address. I changed to H2O wireless. At least they are not primitive. They have variety of plans and different payment methods.
