United States | 05 July 2024I contacted customer service about an issue regarding a top up-- I paid for one but did not receive the extra minutes. I was not able to make phone calls. I troubleshooted the issue with a great CS rep who told me there would be an update within 24 hours. I did not receive an update, and it was complete radio silence after that. I have to be able to receive phone calls due to work (that is entire reason I purchased the top up) and still, even after purchasing a top up, cannot make or receive calls. I cannot put up with this any longer. Great cellular service, but unfortunately the super slow responses to fix time sensitive situations, such as this one, are highly frustrating and will likely cause me to switch carriers in the future.

I called to transfer my number to a twelve month subscription and she endured over an hour long call with me to make sure my needs were met. We waited for technical service to respond but finally we will be able to resolve this now. Team leader please take note of this representative’s exceptional customer service skills and give her a promotion to a more useful position within your company. She was responsive, she didn’t keep me on hold too long between contacts, this girl is everything that your company needs. I’m a happy customer now. You have made my life changing move much easier.

United States | 25 June 2024We relied on the international calling plans that the company offered and it dropped 60 countries (including the one we needed) from it's calling plans with same day notice. I had several phones with annual calling plans applied and they 1) refused to honor the terms of the annual calling plan 2) refused to credit me the cost of the remaining terms in the plan when I had to switch to a more expensive plan to get the calling. All they would offer is a possible chance to get a international add on for the same cost as the annual renewal of the more expensive plan. This is a blatant money grab and a horrible customer experience. They paint you into a corner and demand your credit card number. If you need international calling stay away!!! Who knows what the next money grab will look like! I've gone month to month now while I look for a more honorable company.

United States | 25 June 2024I received an email today stating, "Changes are coming to how RedPocket does international calling. Please note that these changes will go into effect on 2024-06-24. If you’re already on a plan with 10GB of data or more per month, nothing will change. If your plan has less than 10GB of data per month, the number of countries included in your free international calling plan will drop to 20. Additionally, the $10 monthly credit for calls to countries not included on the list will no longer be offered." Red Pocket chat states they don't have access to the 20 countries information. I called customer service and waited 18+ minutes and my call was disconnected . No response to an email requesting the information. Today is 6.24.2024 no advance notice of the changes . I have experienced many problems with Red Pocket's service. BEWARE!!
