VAN at extension 1965 is EXCELLENT!! He has helped me several times and is always knowledgeable, kind, professional, shows great passion for Red Pocket's service, and has great communications skills. I’ve been trying to activate my esim on my new iPhone 14 for hours now and the customer service is useless, even disconnected me! I have had no phone service now, which I am still paying for! Still trying to get the esim Red Pocket sold me to work! They said they sent me a QR code but never got it and CS said they couldn't send it again! Waiting, waiting, for hours to get this fixed. Guess I will have to give them a call again to see if someone else can help me the last few CS couldn't!! Bad experience all around!!

Update: Spent the entire day talking or chatting with different support people. One said turn off data roaming, another said turn it on. So sick of this. ——————— I am currently in Mexico and can make phone calls but cannot receive them. Have spent several hours with customer service, some quite useless, several of whom I could not understand, and the last one I was on the line for an hour while he was doing something in the background that did not sound like typing on a keyboard. Still no luck. Have been happy with them for several years but now looking for a new provider. CS is useless.

The eSIM install instructions on the web page leave out a key instruction, so I couldn't make it work in an iPhone. "Support" consisted on some entity telling me to install another browser than Safari and immediately leaving the chat. The email contains the more complete instruction and it initiated activation...which didn't work. The gear just spun and spun. So I cancelled and tried again, fearful that my existing ATT eSIM would be obliterated. Then it completed and told me that the default was changed. Yes, without your permission Red Pocket makes its number the primary. I got a big "whew!" when I went to my cellular setting and found the ATT number was still there, and turned it back on. The Red Pocket is supposed to be just for emergency, but I suspect it is more likely to cause an emergency. We shall see. Update. Less than a week later I cancelled. I hope. I. had to call because the "live chat" was no such thing. I had begun to have various problems with my AT&T eSiM service, such as not being able to call toll-free numbers. As soon as I cancelled Red Pocket the ATT line is working normally. I called to cancel since they won't let you do it online. (hmmmmm), and it took as long as possible, of course. Don't answer their questions, just tell them you want to cancel.

Had been waiting to be able to roam in Canada. At first it di not work. C.S. Leslie on the chat line enabled the option for me. It is now working. Tok only a couple of minutes.

I received my sim card Tuesday and tried to port but got an error. Worked with a CSR who said the zip code was wrong. How this could happen I don't know. Then he told me it would take up to 24 hours so I waited until Wednesday. Still getting an error so I contacted my previous carrier who said the pin was wrong. I chatted with the second CSR at Red pocket who said she resubmitted the request and to wait 24 hours. I immediately checked with my previous carrier who said the address was wrong. He sent me a copy of the port in request from Red pocket and the address didn't even exist. So I got another chat going with Red pocket and she resubmitted the request with the correct address. I made her wait until I spoke to the previous carrier CSR who reviewed the request and said the zip code was wrong and it was. Asked the CSR to please fix and resend and finally it worked. I thought all was good until I got out of WiFi range today and found I have no data. Probably spent two hours with two different CSRs today who could not resolve the issue. I gave up. Probably spent a total of six hours over three days. I asked for a port out pin and am looking for a new plan. I doubt I will get my $30 back either.

awsome company at a much lower cost than big 3 cell companies. don't need to call them to get them busy as they are very good about chatting or getting back to you. I'm so glad I left verizon to join Red Pocket.

Service reliability is really good. Not a real fan of voicemail set up, however.
