United Kingdom | 05 March 2021Somehow a phone that won't charge (faulty smartphone outlet socket), is more inconvenient than a laptop or PC not working, but the frustration levels are similar. Found Fixfactor on a search, checked the Trustpilot reviews and headed for the post office, 4 1/2 days later, it's back and it works. I sent it registered post and could track the delivery 24 hours after dispatch, the wonderful Kate responded immediately to my enquiry about whether they had the phone and the parts for the repair. She also responded helpfully when little more than a day later I chased for progress. Delivered back by the same Post Office service, the same week. Fixfactor did exactly what was required, the phone now charges and and plugs into Android Auto (not to be taken for granted). I hope I don't need to use them too often, but have no hestiation in recommending that others do.

When I dropped it in for repair I was able to collect later the same day and so far am very happy with the job done.

United Kingdom | 10 February 2021I have trust and faith with fix factor. My first problem with a waterlogged keyboard which needs replacing. Over a period of 3-4 weeks my machine kept randomly hanging. The Fixfactor team took it up a challenge to do proper root cause analysis to understand what was causing the problem. Any other company would have given up but these folks did not give up. Eventually they identified that the replacement keyboard was faulty and shorting the motherboard. And the problem was resolved. Recently I needed to get my battery replaced on my laptop within 24-hour it was picked up, replaced and returned the same evening! I would not go anywhere else if I had a problem with my computer or mobile or any gadget.

United Kingdom | 14 January 2021I booked a repair with Fixfactor for my Redmi Note 9 Pro, which had a cracked screen, and posted it to them. When they received it they informed me that they didn't actually have the necessary parts in stock, and there would be a delay of potentially weeks while they waited for their supplier to send parts. I didn't have an issue with this - these things happen. The issue is that they then informed me that as my order was pay on completion, and as "90%" of those orders never turn up, they simply don't bother keeping a wide range of stock. This is a different kettle of fish - they had advertised that this repair was available, and nowhere is it indicated that pay on completion orders are treated differently than prepaid orders. I was also unimpressed that the representative pointed out, quite rudely, that they are the only company who will repair my phone model in London - essentially telling me I should be grateful they could do it at all. If their model is to assume that a pay on completion order will never turn up, and they manage to get away with this because the majority of phones are common brands whose parts they have in stock, then I don't feel able to recommend them to others as a business to use. They need to be more transparent with customers about which repairs they're able to provide.

United Kingdom | 13 January 2021These guys really know their stuff! Fixfactor is amazing! My son smashed the glass back on his Honor View 20. Two local phone shops failed to spot that the antenna had also been damaged and convinced us that they had fixed the problem. Neither had, but both charged me for their reassurances! The first one put on a cheap replacement back and the second took it off and stuck it back on (badly)! Meanwhile the phone had no signal. Fixfactor had the phone for a few days before correcting diagnosing the issue. They then called me with the details and a quote for repairs. I was thrilled with the price and with the completed work. The phone looked gorgeous upon return: like new. I would recommend Fixfactor to anyone, with any brand of handset.

The new battery will give the Surface Pro 3 another 3 or 4 years of service so the battery replacement was well worth the money. They were quick too.
