As soon as you walk into the showroom there is a warmth and helpfulness that very few car dealerships have in the area. The sales specialists listen and advise accordingly and best of all insist a test drive is taken if unsure which car is right. All the staff are pleasant especially Kymberley who helped me personally choose the right car which was a Honda Z-RV Advance. She worked with Ed who is one of the John Banks directors to craft the right financials. It was then down to me to make a decision. There was plenty of time given to make my decision which is a delight to sleep on something when spending such sums of money. I have bought a number of cars over the years and will give John Banks Honda and their whole team a big thumbs up for a great service.

First time applying for a mobility car. I called around a few of the local dealerships in my area. Most we're busy or had no appointments for ages. Suzuki Bury St Edmunds was my last call. Spoke to a lovely gentleman called Rob who could actually see me within the hour for an appointment. When I arrived Rob was so welcoming and took me through step by step the mobility car scheme. He took the time to find out what I was and wasn't looking for. He came up with three cars that was available straight away within a week. I fell in love with the Suzuki S-Cross. After a test drive I knew it was the right car for my needs. Rob was super knowledgeable of the process of the mobility scheme all the way to the actual car and features etc. I never felt rushed or under any obligation to take any car that was shown to me. Everything I needed to know was explained in detail. The day I collected the car Rob was very patient explaining what every button was for and helped set up everything that I needed to be able to drive away. I was petrified going into a dealership and into the unknown as it's all new to me. I would 1000% recommend Rob and the Suzuki dealership to anyone looking for a car. Nothing was too much trouble. In fact my older son is going back to the dealership for a car.

I recently bought my Honda ADV 350 from John Banks Honda, when I visited the dealer I spoke with Eddie, who showed me round the bike and answered all my questions, I said I would have a think, no pressure was put on me, on making my decision to buy, a quick call to Eddie and the bike was ready a week later. We visited the Honda showroom at Nacton Ipswich 3 times to look at cars. On each occasion we were made to feel welcome by Charlie Coe and Edward Kreckler. Both were very polite and helpful. They listened to us and were patient and took time to show us cars that met our needs. We never felt pressurised at any stage. Having selected a car, Charlie took us to a quiet, private area to have a test drive away from heavy traffic. When we went to collect the car that we had decided to buy, Edward talked us through all the paperwork and took time to show us various features of the car. He concluded by saying that if we had any problems then we could always contact him or Charlie for assistance.

I’ve been dealing with John Banks in Ipswich since 2006. Originally servicing my Honda CRV when I moved onto the area. I bought a new CRV from them in 2016 and recently picked up my new ZRV which is my third car from them. The service team have been excellent keeping me informed and meeting times promised etc. I have also dealt with the same sales advisor since 2016 and found him to be extremely helpful and informative - excellent.
