Just wanted to say a big thank you to Victor Abdulai the Sales Director of the Thornton Heath branch. I’ve been looking for a property for a few months without any success. I decided to then visit a few estate agents on the Thornton Heath high street. Went to visit a few competitors did but not feel welcome in any of them I was not asked of my requirements just gave my name and number and left. I then walked into the Stirling Ackroyd Thornton Heath Victor Abdulai immediately stood up and greeted me , introduced himself and made me feel welcome. He then presided in asking what my requirements were, how long I’ve been looking and the things I didn’t like about the properties I’d seen. Victor then discussed about the other services Stirling Ackroyd offered ie financial services and solicitors which I will be using. Victor didn’t have anything that suited my requirements at the time. He promised he will keep in touch once a something comes up and true to his word I got a phone call from Victor that he might have a property for me. I went to view the property it ticked all the boxes I’m so estactic and over the moon that I have now found my dream property. My offer was accepted and now going through the legal side of things. I can’t thank Victor Abdulai for having the time and patience in finding me my dream property. I have recommended Stirling Ackroyd to all my friends as I was so impressed with there service.

Freddie has been incredibly helpful. He organised valuations, gave me sensible advice and regularly checked in with me: never pushy, always polite and well informed.

Absolutely horrible service from Stirling Ackroyd Thornton Heath branch, particularly Victor Abdulai, who handled our case as Joanna Evangelou's left on holiday. Our offer was accepted, and we were instructed to undergo a Credas check and docusign by Jo. Instead of transparently explaining the situation from the seller's side, our details were promptly forwarded to the solicitor, creating the illusion of progress. Eager to move, we completed forms and payments within 24 hours. Regrettably, our attempts to communicate were met with unanswered emails and callbacks. The lack of feedback has caused us stress and is disheartening. Astonishingly, the property was sold to another buyer without even the courtesy of informing us. This was informed to us by the solicitor they referred us to while we were in the middle of the process. We were actively exploring multiple houses daily, relying on an approved mortgage offer expiring in December. This commitment by Stirling Ackroyd led us to reject two other properties. Despite the urgency of our situation, we were misled and left in the background while the seller sought another buyer. This unreliable and inconsiderate service has left us in distress, with concerns about its impact on our mortgage offer & our housing needs. Given timely feedback and clarity, we would have willingly considered alternative properties. Our disappointment stems from the lack of clarity, false hopes, and the significant waste of our time. Stirling Ackroyd has offered us exceptionally unprofessional, untrustworthy, and inconsiderate service.

Sandra, gave us wonderful advice, and is very helpful with our needs in buying our first home, she had all the answers we were looking for. Amazing service!

We chose Brett and his team to sell out central London office building after receiving a very professional appraisal with clear guidelines and I am very pleased to say we are delighted with service and guidance we received which resulted in an excellent outcome in all respects.

Being a first time buyer in London has its challenges. Luckily I came across Stephen Still @ Stirling Ackroyd Surveyors, he has carried out 2 surveyors for me, he has been extremely helpful with expert detailed reports. But what I have found invaluable was the phone calls after the inspections talking me through all his findings, and offering good practical advice, he has been available to answer questions that have arisen which has certainly taken a lot of the worry out of the process for me. I would highly recommend Stephen.

Even though we were buyers not sellers, I always felt that they were on our side. Buying and selling are so stressful and they always treated us courteously and kindly with an acknowledgement of the difficulties that we encountered. Reassuring and with a great sense of humour. Feroza in particular was very warm, understanding and patient with each of our property visits as well as over the phone; Anthony made it all happen, was always very responsive and went beyond what he needed to do, on our behalf as much as the seller's.
