We had a viewing yesterday, we were stood outside the property in the pouring rain for 25 minutes and I could not get through to anyone on the phone, nor was anyone answering the buzzer. I spoke to the agent this morning, and they said they forgot to tell me yesterday that the viewing was cancelled. A waste of 2 hours of travel, money and ended up soaking wet.

Have never dealt with a company that ignores requests for over six months. This includes managers and directors. Repeated emails, phone calls. Not how you treat a landlord who signed up for the fully managed service. Absolutely shocking.

Ellie cam to value my Fathers property on 22nd April 2024. She was very friend and efficient. Her valuation was good and was emailed to us the next day. Very pleased with service this far.

I am disgusted by the way I am being treated by SA. I rented a property which was mould infested, had to end my contract as despite raising the issue with the property’s manager, the landlord refused to fix the issue. No communication by SA. One month after vacating the property I have not received my deposit back. They did not email me important documentation as their system was down. I have to chase them to get updates as they do not email me or call me to update me. I’m being treated with constant contempt and disrespect for my dignity. These people are rogues. Avoid renting from them. I have complained, spoken to managers, emailed, called and nothing. Close to 4K on owed monies.

Had survey completed on back of cash offer received on property. Spent last eight years upgrading and improving all aspects of property. Having received the report it was totally biased, did not mention our immaculate property in any detail at all just focused on a landslip many miles away from us. We are built on rock so no issues at all neither with any surrounding houses in village some built in the 1800’s and still standing very solidly. This biased and unfair report led to our cash offer being reduced by £65k on what was an already reduced offer from a cash sale company leading to us losing the property we had reserved. Is one in the hands of the other? It is peoples’ lives you’re messing with remember that.

I strongly recommend against trusting Stirling Ackroyd with the management of your house. Their staff are poorly trained, inexperienced and lack a professional approach. They simply act as a middle man between landlord, tenant and contractors without any real management expertise. I was stuck with this outgoing repairs including a freezing house during 2 winters in a row yet still there are an obscene amount of things which require repair. I had a broken window for 3 months as well during summer (luckily) and had to deal with all sorts of issues because of that. Property manager went on vacation only to forget about this issue completely. Their only goal is to save their landlords some money. Now they are trying to make it a condition that only if I renew my contract will they fix the freezing temperatures I have been dealing with for more than 1 year and a half.

From the first day I spoke to Magdalena Sadkowska on the phone, she demonstrated professionalism and efficiency. Magdalena was calm and explained everything to me about their properties and offers and gave me advice. She also suggested a broker advisor. Whenever I emailed or called, she was available or called straight away when she was free to talk. Magdalena shows calmness, patience and professionalism at all times. Very caring, helpful, knowledgeable and available all the time. I wish the world was surrounded by people like Magdalena, we would live in a better place.

Don't bother doing business with Stirling Ackroyd! They would advertise a place at a certain price, take 20 offers on it and then entertain every person who placed an offer to bid against others which will ultimately raise the asking price of the propriety by 20%. They are doing nothing but damaging what is already a difficult real estate market. Communication is extremely poor, they won't keep you in the loop nor inform if your offer was successful or not. To be frank I doubt they are even presenting all the offers to the landlord, they would most likely show off by putting forward only offers way above the asking price. I've been working with other agencies who have made it very clear they would be unable to do any viewings or take offers once a propriety is under offer but Stirling Ackroyd works like no one else on the market and I mean it in the worst possible way. If you are a landlord or a tenant looking for your next successful rental please take your business anywhere else but Stirling Ackroyd.

I have recently rented an apartment in Shoreditch through Stirling Ackroyd and have had fantastic support from Lewis Pyles and Rahat Mazumder who work out of the Shoreditch High Street office. My situation was a little complex as I was organising the rental from Australia - both Lewis and Rahat went out of their way to help me even when it meant we had to talk on very opposite time zones. All my questions and the process in general were handled beautifully, including my wish to check in the morning I landed into London with minimal delay. We have had a few issues on check in and again the team have responded speedily and really gone above and beyond to get us settled in quickly. Could not recommend more highly. Thanks guys.

Rented twice via Chiswick Branch, never again! Paperwork never matches verbal promises. Make sure you get things in writing everytime - but best of luck with that. Too many specifics to list - untrustworthy IMHO.
