Ellie was very pleasant to talk too, calm and professional in speech, thorough with questions, what my needs and requirements are. Also Ellie was sympathetic when I explained my current house has been severally water damaged.

The Woking lettings team were really professional and diligent in finding a tenant for me. They were responsive to my queries and worked hard to get the tenancy started when dealing with a compressed timeline. I would recommend Shona and the team without reservation.

Is this the way you manage the property Awful check in and checkout experience with the property managed by Sterling Ackroyd 70-80 percent of these issues were resolved 2 weeks after check in. I have handed over the flat in much better condition at checkout and they are not happy and claiming cleaning expenses. And they claim they provide professional cleaning service. such an awful experience There was several issues noted below during checkin. First of all, they won't tell you where the keys are. No appropriate communication. They keep you waiting for hours and hours at door of new property. They don't answer your calls. Oh my god, such a terrible experience 1. Bulb replacement - 5-6 Bulbs are not working. 2. Fixing Bathroom sliding door which is not working. 3. Fixing TV door stand - which is not in proper working order 4. Fixing Lounge main window - which was broken 5. Fixing table stand in bedroom 1 - which was broken inside 6. Kitchen Sink tab replacement or fixing as it is damaged 7. Kitchen sink water clogging 8. Lounge ceiling bulb shelf broken 9. one of the Kitchen shelf inside desk broken 10. Kitchen table wrap was teared near hob Hygiene Issues: 1. Commode (Toilet seat) is so dirty and full of limescale which looks very ugly. 2. There are stinky marks on the floor and on most of the table stands & tv stands especially the one which is in the lounge area. 3. There are 3-4 used cigarettes on the floor, I had to remove by myself 4. Oven and Bread toaster are in worst condition. 5. Hob is not cleaned. 6. Lounge Large windows from inside looks very dirty. 7. Wall crack under the sink 8. Old tenants used masks are kept on tv stand 9. Old tenants used items were not removed and left them in the house. 10. Fridge has evil smell

Recently I have had to find student accommodation last minute and what could have been a very stressful situation was made infinitely more pleasant and Smoot from our agent Darcy who was able to efficiently communicate with 6 nervous students and help us find a home for the year and demonstrated a remarkable level of compassion to our situation as first time renters and even went out of her way to give updates and reassurance on a bank holiday which was a great comfort to us. She was readily available for any questions we may have (and we had many) and overall was very pleasant to communicate with. As a first time renter I haven't a lot of experience with estate agents but I doubt in the future I will be fortunate enough to experience the same level of service and compassion again.

Used the survey to purchase a property recently and they simply did not do their job. The house was full of damp and mould, the interior walls were rendered instead of plastered and the surveyor stated he did not see any of this. I have had 4 damp experts all telling me to chase up this problem with the surveyor as it should have been spotted. They have been completely unhelpful and do not participate in any responsibility. I do not believe they even viewed the house to survey it. 100% do not recommend.

I am giving this rating to a particular agent : David Harvey. It was a telephone enquiry regarding viewing of a property.He was most helpful and kind and replied to all my emails very promptly . The arranged viewing was cancelled in the end but I was informed about it in plenty of time by another agent : Artie( if I remember correctly). I think I dealt with the Byfleet branch. Lovely experience

Spencer De Jonge helped sell our flat and was excellent in managing our expectations. he was knowledgable and kept us up to date with potential buyers giving us feedback along the way. I can’t comment on the next stage as this is now being dealt with by a different team in Stirling Ackroyd but Spencer has set the bar high.

This review is about an advisor named Sandra Holmes. When someone is genuinely nice, it comes across even in their phone conversations. I have dealt with her for over a year now, and every conversation ends well. She has always kept her word and professionalism and she also has a sense of humour. Thank you for your genuine care and knowledge. What a pleasant Lady you are. If ever our tenants, leave, I will be hunting you down for your help. Stirling should be proud to have you on their team.

I shall never rent through Stirling Ackroyd again, this company only thinks about two things protecting themselves and the landlord. it is disgusting the way they treat you; they do not care about you at all. fence down nothing done for nearly three months, had items damage in the garden as we lived next to an alleyway. bathroom shower was leaking, downstairs ceiling was going mouldy, in fact it was that bad we had to call council out in the end. we left 7 months later leaking shower and mould was the same and they even let the new people move in with lots of promises. do not rent off Stirling Ackroyd, you will be very sorry you did. yes, they should win a prise for worst estate agent out there. They threaten you if I stopped paying the £2800 a month rent, this is their behaviour.

I was shown around a property in south west London by an agent called Hayley Evans. It was a truly awful experience from the moment I arrived. Even though I was objectively jovial and friendly, she made me feel completely unwelcome. She followed me around like a ghost. She didn't say a single word or offer any kind of commentary on or information about the property. Her presence and demeanour were extremely icy. When she deigned to answer my questions, it was only with quick nods and shakes or one word answers. I have no idea why this person is in a public-facing job or how she even got there. Since, however, I have read several investigative articles in credible newspapers about how agents make certain 'types' of people feel unwelcome in order to dissuade them from making offers. Avoid this awful company.
