I was quite panic at the first time when I saw, some places that I was looking for was already booked. Just tried to sent an enquiry, in the hope that it had not updated yet. I was so surprised to get some emails from Edlets with so many places recommended. And just within one hour I already got what I wanted.

Further into the conversation it became apparent that they also managed the same property and the sad news was it was already booked! Edlets then took it upon themselves to try and find us alternative accommodation and emailed three different properties to us. This delighted us as we had been looking fro three weeks and most were booked. Tonight we have just paid the deposit on one of the properties emailed to us, so thank you very much, we will raise a glass to you at New Year:)

Property listings had detailed information about bedroom setup so it was easy to work out whether our group could be accommodated in their chosen rooms. There were also many photos of the accommodation so it was easy to see whether it would suit our group. My online questions were answered quickly. Another member of my party phoned and spoke to Dan who they said was very helpful.

United Kingdom | 27 August 2016Picture the scene - it's 4.30pm on the Friday afternoon before the August Bank Holiday weekend, our family holiday is supposed to begin the next day - but we still have nothing booked! We find the Edlets website, give them a call and within 20 mins, we have a succession of available self catering accommodation pinging into our inbox for us to decide whether they are to our liking. Instead of us chasing vacant accommodation, it was the hosts sending their offers through to us - it took a while to get used to things being the other way round - but it worked - and 1 hour 45 later we had a confirmed booking! We hadn't expected that - especially at 4.30pm the afternoon before a Bank Holiday weekend - when we feared we wouldn't find anything at all. Thanks Edlets - just hope our holiday is as good as the booking was easy! Our gratitude goes to Mark for getting our enquiry circulated quickly and to Jill for brokering the deal which we settled on - and for staying back after hours to deal with the reservation. This was a welcome introduction to a new way of finding holiday accommodation!

India | 18 August 2016I sent an enquiry about one apartment in Edinburgh and suddenly my inbox was spammed with an onslaught of booking options all at a higher rate than what I had enquired for. Since we were a group of 7 with specific needs I decided to go ahead with one of their listings even though it was a little beyond our budget.Choosing one from this long list as it was also very near our arrival date turned out to be the biggest mistake I made. Edlets does not have any clue about what they are offering customers. They never took the trouble to check out the place we booked. We informed our host, Patrick Gallacher, that we would arrive around 2 but got a little delayed and when we arrived at 3 he was actually washing a horde of filthy towels. The house was so dirty that I don't think anyone had stepped inside the last few months at the least. The dishwasher had also just been switched on and we were expected to clean the rest of the kitchen utensils and the kitchen itself if we wanted to use anything! I couldn't believe my eyes! Patrick tried to tell us that he was getting someone to clean it by 7 o'clock in the evening!! I called up Edlets and all they said was that the host was doing his best....can you believe this? We wasted one precious day hanging around outside as we couldn't even unload our luggage from the car while Patrick and another lady did a basic clean up. The listing said three bathrooms but there was only one which was functional and the other shower was broken. The third didn't even have a shower and the ceiling height didn't permit the guys to use the loo. Besides the place was so filthy that I requested Edlets to shift us to another place but they said it was not possible. Obviously they had got their booking amount and couldn't care less! Neither did Patrick as the sign outside his property clearly stated it was up for sale. He was just making a last quick buck. Never will we trust Edlets again! There were no apologies from either Patrick or Edlets, instead we were told that if we didn't like the place we could get out but our booking amount would not be reimbursed. EDLETS IS BAD NEWS!
