United Kingdom | 16 January 2025All correspondence is generic eg I am not a long-term customer as suggested in the Trust Pilot invitation, just a one-off. Sales rep called and emailed sometimes several times a day until I made a decision. I was told that the fixed price included up to 11 bags of material, but the contract said only 1. The sales rep said that it couldn't be changed. The email I was sent to arrange collection was lost among several others, as the subject line wasn't clear. As a consequence, I was not on-site on the day of collection and was charged the same amount again to arrange a second collection, After collection, I was sent another invoice requesting payment! I can't speak as to their efficiency in shredding, but for the rest, I'm not really impressed

United Kingdom | 15 January 2025Booked a one-off collection and signed an agreement only to find the collection service was available in our area on Mondays only - one of our home-working days. Had to arrange for staff to come in to be on site so the collection could take place. The job was duplicated on the Shred-it system, so two invoices arrived - another phone call to sort that out. The collection day itself went well and I like that the collection bags are recyclable too. Everybody I spoke to was helpful but the whole end-to-end process could been a little smoother. Currently awaiting certificate to show proof of destruction of materials.

United Kingdom | 08 January 2025I arranged a one-off purge collection several weeks ago and had to pay 138.60 in advance for this as yet unproven service . Today is the assigned of collection day and I have been waiting in and had heard nothing so chased up the company by phone. They told me that a courier arrived this morning just after 8 am and left as we were not responding. My husband and I were here at that time as was my very vocal dog so I find this hard to believe. I had no prior warning that the courier would arrive at that time and no text reminder or email since 19th December from the company. Now apparently I have to pay the whole fee again. This is shoddy and exploitative in my view. My biggest gripe is that the agent I spoke to casually informed me the the ones was on me to provide them with a phone number unprompted if I wanted to be kept informed about the status of my service so effectively this is all my fault. At no time did they ask me for a number. They were however very much more communicative when chasing me to pay them. I will not be using them again

I have good roadside access to my house and garage, so it was great to clear some dated business papers. I have used Shred It on i believe 4/5 ocassiins now, great service from initial telephone booking thru' to the actual collection process. Highly recommend!
