Ireland | 16 February 2020As with other reviewers, I booked through Nustay and then received a follow up email to say the were "reconfirming" my 2 night hotel reservation with the hotel. They then followed up again to say my reservation would be confirmed if I paid a €160 supplement! This was over 50% more than the original total cost, and significantly more expensive than offers via TripAdvisor or the hotel direct. Also, they charge in EUR so you may have to pay an additional fee to your bank/ card provider. Waste of time and money - avoid.

Hong Kong | 12 February 2020Their service is remarkable. At first, we were unsuccessful in making our booking online to our targeted hotel about 6 week ahead of our schedule. Nustay’s showed up on our search browser so we tried out luck with them. After a few back and forth of replies from Valerie, our Nustay Account manager, she was manage to dig up a room for us. Unfortunately, just before 1 week before we set off, the coronavirus outbreak forced us to cancel the trip and Valerie was able to help us to explain our situation to the hotel and fully refund our non-refundable reservation. I will definitely recommend Nustay to my family and friends for their next trip!

Denmark | 08 February 2020It seems this as gone from a good site offering great prices. To basically one big scam. It seems they have a lot of issues with prices and availability. 3 Hamburg hotels i tried to book, was much expensive or suddenly not available when trying to book. But when I search they appear again, with same low price. This is extremely annoying and you could get the thought that they run some kind of scam by offering cheap prices in the search, but when booking it is more expensive. I hope this is not the case and you just have some technical problems currently. I managed to book one room, only for their customer service to contact me and inform it could not be confirmed anyway. But then offering me the same room at +100EUR more. The prices they have on the site is in most cases way better than trivago and other sites. But it seems it is just to good to be true, and waste of time. As you end up with no room or paying much more than they promise in the search. Edit; I agree to the fact that they did end up offering me the room at a price that was better than other booking sites. But my main reason for the poor rating is that I ended up wasting so much time on their site. As what the search shows, is not available when wanting to book. It happened to 4-5 hotels. I even tried after they contacted me and the same hotel appears again at low price (even though their team knows it is no longer valid). Next they day the low price was finally update. But if this was to be an effective site, the prices should be refreshed more than once a day. But I cahnge to 2 stars as they in fact ended up offering a very good price for that specific Hotel, although more expensive than first price shown. The browser cache excuse are not really valid as even for the very first search I did, i could not book 3-4 hotels with very good prices. i swith to my mobile, and again prices where shown and could not be confirmed.

United States | 08 February 2020Recently I was having trouble confirming my reservation with the hotel I booked through Nustay. After the hotel told me they could not find my reservation, I emailed Nustay’s customer service and they got back to me within one hour with a resolution to my issue. Nustay had gone ahead and called the hotel to triple confirm the reservation and followed up with further details so that I could confirm with the hotel also. I was worried that my email would not be answered for several days but they were on top of things.
