Placed an order on the 6 May for my father's birthday which was on the 18th May it's now the 27th June and I still haven't received it ,I have emailed them many times and all I'm getting back is it takes 3-5 days for them to receive it from there suppliers but it's been over 7 weeks , I think I've been patient for long enough now and have asked for my money back, would not recommend.

I bought 4 Items listed « in stock ». 10 days after my order, one item was send, one is finally not in stock and the others 2 are not send yet... seriously ? Still waiting... BUT they are very quick to report this review

Don't waste your time and money. Ordered the Herpa 'Munich Airport' set on the April 14, which I haven't received, chased on April 23 but no answer. Terrible communication. Understand it may be tricky with Covid-19, however the website indicates they are fully open and shipping every day so would have expected proper communication. Happy to wait when I know what is going on... Will buy elsewhere in the future.

Ordered an Air Canada model on 4th April 2020 and it came on the 10th. This is very good service and a brilliant first experience with AMS. I currently have another model on order and can’t wait to see it. Thank you for brilliant service.

One of the most incompetent companies I've ever dealt with! Don't bother with this company, they've wasted my time massively. Ordered an item and after 4 working days, it hadn't arrived so I chased it up.. Out of stock and on order with supplier, told it would arrive from suppliers in 2-4 working days, 5 working days pass and still no word, so chase them again and told it's still not arrived... This was a gift for someone's birthday too, so this had already passed... Then I am offered a refund which I accept and order it elsewhere, two days later, I get 2 notification emails that they've shipped the item to me!!!! So now I have to send it back to them, wasting yet more of my time. Really angry at the horrendous communication here. I also asked about why I couldn't log in to my online account and still to this day haven't had an answer! Try Scalemodelstore instead would be my strong advice! THEN to top it off.. I send the model back and 6 days later, still no refund, I had to chase for the refund! .. They also only refunded the model cost and not the postage I had to pay to return it, I AGAIN had to chase this payment separately, another SIX days after the original refund for the model! Absolute joke. I will never use this company ever again!

I order a lot of models with this company and never had a bad experience with them fast delivery tracked polite just wish they would answer the phone when you phone them keep getting the busy tone apart from that I would recommend this model shop.

Fantastic company, if you live in the UK (can't speak for anywhere else as I'm British) then these are definitely the people to go to for models! Fast delivery and fantastic service, not to mention a brilliant selection of aircraft to choose from. I recently had some trouble with the mail couriers losing my delivery, but AMS' customer service were incredibly helpful at trying to find the parcel and then sending replacements for no extra cost when the originals didn't show up. 10/10 for these guys!

Highly recommend. One more thing..and mostly important their honesty and loyalty are amazing. One of the models was damaged so they refused to send it like that unless it's in perfect condition. I ordered a model on the 22nd July, it never showed despite payment. I messaged them, no reply, tried phoning, no answer, then I started thinking maybe I had made a mistake. Like an fool I actually ordered the same item on 30th October, same again. After a couple of weeks no communication or delivery I checked with Paypal, both transactions went through, nothing received and no communication. They have now got in touch and it seems that there has been an oversight and they are looking into the issue. The first July order has been refunded. They seem like a decent enough Company but obviously their is a problem with the ordering and communication that needs sorted out.

I find this store so much better than other sites such as Airspotters. The website is so much easier to navigate around. AMS also offer discount where as Airspotters dont. Delivery is quick and reflects the price paid, its dear for such as model but outside of AMS control. I would point out i don't get the membership part where if you pay £10 you get 5% off all orders for a year or £25 for 10% off all orders a year. I don't understand how your saving money then throughout the year as you've paid for the discount really so in essence its not discount. I've not bought it for this reason i do think maybe offering discount for people who created an account for example birthdays or after theyve spent so much money would be ideal. However i cant say i have any problems with AMS at present which is really good.

Update: Since original review AMS reached out to me and they have worked hard to correct the mistake they made. I really appreciate the efforts and believe they can do a great service. I have got the faulty product replaced by default and they have made up to the shipping cost with credit on my account for future order. What they have to improve is the stock control and response to customer enquiries without the need of agitation. All in all they have moved the scale and I am more likely to keep being their customer when I have a need for a model. long story short they turned the situation around and curiously waiting what the future holds. Old Review summary. stock and communicational issues has made my first experience quite bitter and it left me frustrated. But read the update and might get a clear picture about how things can be done when communication is strengthened and both parties can discuss things in calm and intelligent manner.
