United Kingdom | 25 January 2023I was placed on this “scheme” in May of last year and although it initially seemed like they were there to offer you help and assist into getting back into work, it soon became clear that their overall motive is to push you into any job they see fit so that they can collect their commission. I explained from the start that I suffer from anxiety and that I have childcare commitments that hinder the hours I am available to work. At first they seemed understanding, explained I would only have one “face to face” meeting a month plus one phone call every fortnight and offered me ways to bulk out my CV through funded courses, which I did. Every phone call I received was not at the appointment time and if I failed to answer I got the obligatory “you failed to attend so risk sanctions” email then on one face to face appointment I was forced to sit in a back room with 5 other people and told I had to find and apply for 3 jobs there and then in order to be allowed to leave! This alone set my anxiety into overdrive and I’m now suffering from depression and panic disorder, having therapy and signed off work by my GP… but did Jobs-22 care…? Not one bit. Still expected me to take part fully in their scheme and still bombard me with appointments that my mental health currently won’t allow me to attend. Most unethical and uncaring company I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

United Kingdom | 19 January 2023When I first attended this scheme I wasn’t happy I didn’t gel with my work coach and seemed she had an attitude as just wanted her money for me attending shoved me in a job that had nothing that I had asked for, however having a change of work coach and Bobbi’s interview workshop has really helped me, also on finding out I had an interview he called me in at the earliest convenience to prep me for it and I went and got the job, if it had been Bobbi and Oliver from the start this review would have been 5 stars, I’m sorry your colleague let you down. But thank you for your guys support!!

United Kingdom | 12 January 2023The unprofessional, obnoxious, waste of public money and my time. Every time I have to contact them I feel so bad it ruins my day. And I’m not a person who usually goes online to give bad reviews. This organisation is an example of Soviet “fake employment”: cogs ticking boxes. We don’t need them. Job center plus is well enough.

My Name
United Kingdom | 10 January 2023What can I say? The first time I went there I didn't know what it was all about until they explained to me. In my own opinion, the people are respectful and kind and they can be helpful. There were some things I didn't appreciate that didn't go the way I expected to go, some disappointments were in there but then things started shaping and changing and am happy it's changing for good. Some improvements are going on there, I'm happy. I'm actually happy to have known this place. If you need anything just go there and they can help you, they are there to attend your needs. You just need to remind them sometimes if they forget. The only thing that they didn't do is paying me back the money for the bus transportation I spent and the photos as they said, but that's not a problem to me anyway. I just thought to mention that in case if it happens to any person. But if it's a problem to you, just show them receipts and then they will reimburse you. Just be kind and respectful. Do not be rude, do not show your high frustration on them as they're very busy, do not pressure them because it may upset them and cause others to leave you, some may resign from that position to go somewhere else which happened to two people. But remind them politely the/your problem, they're there for you, let your complaints be not out of your way, control your mood and character. If they can't find the job you're lookin for just search it up yourself or accept what they can offer even if you don't like it. They're doing their best to find a suitable job for the people. I remember a guy I can't name gave up looking for work for me because I was selective and at the end I found the job myself, I don't think he put so much effort into it. He only suggested jobs that may have complicated my health. I don't blame him, it must be very difficult lol to find what am looking for I guess because trust me it takes a lot of patience to get what you want in a job. Last year alone I applied a thousand and a half jobs on Indeed the ones I wanted and the ones I didn't want. Some jobs were unnegotiable, so the amount of time and patience it took me to apply it must have drained myself completely even tho I kept pushing to get one at least. Also thanks to jobs centre with their pressure. Some can't find the jobs am looking for so they give up and I end up looking for jobs myself. I never give up looking what I want cos I know I must surely get it. It may tarry but I surely get it. So yeah, the question is, are they helpful? yes they are, but when it comes to search a job of your own choice, forget it cos I know some of the guys there won't waste their whole time looking a job you want or suitable of your choice except if it's warehouse which is mostly available, perhaps kitchen assistant, cleaner morning shift if you like morning, but those who like afternoon it's a bit hard. Night shift is easier to get it on indeed but afternoon is a bit hard for a selected role and evening as well. And if you ask me how do I know? the answer is, because I've been there and I merely know. Simple. So that's my take on that, so they are good people and socially interactive people, from my own I mean mainly the men are more confident and interactive than women when it comes to socialising with others, but yeah each their own. But they are friendly! If you're a new person give it a try you will know. If you're introvert like me, don't worry these guys will help you become extrovert. I rate 4 stars.

United Kingdom | 21 December 2022I have been referred to Restart from my local Dole office were I have been signing on for 11 years, I have been on a number of program since being unemployed and this has helped me more. I have been given reading and writing skills and treated like a person not a number, the health lady really helped me with my worries about telling an employer about my condition. My adviser is great too. When I was in the office recently I met the Chief Operation man, I was shocked he had time to speak to me, he had a look at my cv with me and told me about jobs he saw at Pennels, nice chap, they all are. I had an interview at Pennels and start soon. Thank you.
