Very easy site to use found exactly what I wanted at a fair price

We ordered some flooring from this company to be told it wasn't available and they would be sending another style instead...which they did. When it arrived and our fitter tried to fit in the room, it would not click into place and had marks and scuffs over it. We called Floors Direct Ltd to let them know it was faulty and we wanted to return for a refund, I was put through to a manager who was immediately defensive and said we had a dodgy fitter who didn't know how to fit flooring!! I even offered to send pictures but they were adamant that the damage was caused by us!! After a long conversation they said they would take back the unopened packs but it would need to be at our expense (EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THEIR FAULTY STOCK)...so after paying £50 we sent back via courier. On the day of delivery the courier company called me to say Floors Direct refused delivery and when they tried to speak to them they were rude and swearing over the phone. I then called Floors Direct who said the floor was damaged in all corners and broken in pieces (!!), basically they had no intention of taking it back in the first place or giving us a refund. To say they are rude is an understatement. I then called the courier company back who advised me that Floor Direct said to them that I had told them I saw the courier slamming and throwing the flooring into the van...I had no conversation of the sort with them! They also said that they kept making excuses and changing their story. We're not receiving a refund from this company...STAY AWAY FROM THEM AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, THEY ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN TAKING YOUR MONEY AND SENDING DODGY STOCK. A COMPANY CANNOT BE RUN IN THIS WAY AND IF IT IS IT WILL NOT LAST VERY LONG!!

Great floor and service

If I could leave zero stars I would. I purchased the Nero stone LVT flooring in March last year, had problems with it straight away. It scratches, the tiles crack and peel off in layers, they lift up and are a health hazard. No manufacturers warrantee as falsely stated on the website. They took months of dragging out my very polite requests just to get them to acknowledge the faulty product, they then started ignoring me. I have only just got my money back by taking them to court - they didn’t bother disputing and didn’t take my letters of complaint seriously. It’s only now that the court have sent a letter for a CCJ that they’ve somehow been able to send me an email, respond the same day and send me the refund. Very poor customer service, unreliable and low quality products. Buy at your own risk, the promise of a Warantee is false representation.

Never in my life have I experienced such appalling customer service! It seems no one is in charge and customer service non existent! The flooring is nice but having ordered a second order it was deliver water damaged, I have rang countless times and had no help with either and exchange or refund, emails get ignored and ringing up is frustrating as you get fobbed off that someone will call back and this never happens!! I would massively advise you go elsewhere for your flooring and if there’s anything wrong with your order your basically stuck, however, you have consumer rights and I will be taking action, I just feel sorry for customers who struggle in dealing with such matters!!!!
