Received the flooring and other items on the 23rd May we had the flooring installed on the 7th of June installation finished on the 9th June today is my first free day to return the flooring £86 pack that hasn’t been installed. I spoke with the person at floors direct and she told me that because it’s been more than two weeks since purchased there is no refund. Not happy will not use this company again.

All went well. ordered on line. Went to pick it up. Drove home. Just as you would expect. Was it suppose to be a life changing experience then? The blokes in the warehouse were very helpful.

We had searched around for a particular brand of laminate flooring and Floors Direct had it (we’d used it before and knew it clicked together well). The delivery was within the timeframe stated and, admittedly, was a bit of a surprise but my other half was in & we were able to take delivery. Maybe I did get a “your delivery will be today” email that got caught in a spam filter. But hey, we got the flooring! Floors Direct website was really easy to use. Clear information, good pictures and great suggestions for “accompanying items”. The flooring has laid really well and we’re really happy with it.

Had the high gloss grey oak layed looked great untill lighter evenings came. After just six months the gloss has become a mat in several areas even after removing shoes on entry. Was expected to pay £250 for some one to come and look at it. Customer after sales non existing. Decided to rip the floor up and go to a more reputable dealer. Would stay well clear to avoid stress and disappointment and eventually a lot of money. Manufacturer warranty 20 years lasted six months. Cheap rip off flooring that don't care once they have your money.

We ordered the Natural brushed oiled 190wide click engineered wood flooring. Colour is good, lots of variations...almost too many as there were a couple of very dark pieces. Biggest compliment is that some boxes didn't have any long planks in. I knew it would be varied length sizes, but the majority were short...almost look like off cuts. Makes the floor look very bitty. Was already part way through so couldn't send back.Some edges were also not square so wouldn't join tightly. I called customer services but no compensation or good will gesture. Would not order again.

After receiving some samples we ordered flooring for our lounge. Delivery was quick and efficient. Upon laying the floor, out of 15 boxes there were 7 planks that did not match. They were alot lighter in colour. Unfortunately we needed these to complete the floor so decided to use them under furniture where they couldnt be seen. I contacted floors direct to complain and was told the flooring had been laid incorrectly and the lighter planks should have been randomly laid around the room. We decided with the floor fitter that this option would look silly as the planks would stand out to much. Poor service from floors direct as they couldn't have cared less. The advertisement should have stated it came with a few odd lighter panels as these were not even shown in the photos. Would not order from them again
