Chris, our estate agent, was always friendly, punctual and followed through with our enquiries not only before we made an offer, but throughout the process, really doing the midfielder role between us and the sellers. He also always found the time for the ad hoc viewings we needed to get refurb projects started even prior to exchange. Also the progression team was outstanding, first with Joshua and then with Nicole. Nicole was on the ball chasing up both sides to see the transaction through. We approached Nested towards the end of our contract with another agent, in what seemed like an utterly intractable market. As it happens, we received a proceedable offer which, fingers crossed, will now move us to completion on our onward purchase. That said, I’d have no hesitation in recommending Nested. We spoke to Charley, who would’ve worked on our sale and Emily who was lined up to assist with re-negotiating our onward purchase should that have been a requirement. Both were excellent: understanding but pragmatic, with a data-led sales strategy and apparently, zero bullsh1t. Charley was open about the costs involved in Nested’s bridging offer, which can be substantial but seemed utterly committed to helping us avoid that by digging out blind to get us a realistic price in a weird market. I think the hyperlocal knowledge of a high street agent will always be useful. But they won’t be able to ignore the data-led approach that companies like Nested work on (they provided substantial market data to us in their valuation) and I suspect this is a company that will blaze a trail.

Selling a home is always a hassle, so we contacted Amir at Nested. We had been quite stressed about selling and Amir greatly reduced our stress. Whilst we decided not to sell right now, Amir gave us confidence in the selling process and we’ll be contacting him In a year or so. Amir gave us lots of good information without making us feel obligated to sell immediately.

Best estate agent we worked with. Really good communication the whole way through - super responsive and quick to sort stuff out. Provided solid advice when we hit bumps and on our onward purchase and assisted in negotiations. Only weak point was that the agents didn't know the local area that well - though to that didn't seem to matter as they secured offers quickly (both times!).

We were with another agent and relisted with Nested after two unsuccessful buyers. It reinvigorated our sale. Reiss and the team have been proactive and secured us a sale within two weeks. They really vetted the potential offers so we weren’t misled. They’re professional photos and general business model sets them above most high st agents, of which we’ve had a lot of experience with. I would like to thank the whole team who were involved in our sale, and with particular thanks to Nicole who was clear, calm and supportive throughout the whole process. We put our property on the market in the Summer of 2019 and, as these things can sometimes go, many issues came to light as we navigated the sales process. Overall great service at all stages of the house move, and they seem more genuine and honest than your typical estate agents. Jonathan worked very hard and proactively to get my property in front of the widest audience possible, organising groups of viewings together at the same time every week which was very easy for us to accommodate. Frazer then acted as my buying agent using his experience of the market and how things work to ensure I got the best deal for my onwards purchase. Finally but definitely not least Nicole managed the post sales process with professionalism and tenacity, chasing up awkward solicitors, managing everyones expectations and making sure everyone got aligned, I'm not sure we would have made it to the contract exchange without her. The English property buying process is broken, drawn out, and extremely stressful. Unlike other estate agents, Nested supported us through all stages of this process, in an open and genuine way, for a very competitive fee.

I am grateful to Nested for facilitating my house purchase. I'm not sure we could have pulled it off without them - at least at the time that we were trying to do it (late 2018, when Brexit worries were adding an extra layer of pressure to everything). They paid the bills on my old property (starting from the moment we moved out and until it was sold) and also eased our stamp duty burden. There were a couple of tense moments when Nested pushed for selling our property at the same as their “advance” price when it was struggling to catch people’s attention at higher prices. They have the right to do this unilaterally — make sure you read the small print so you’re aware of such possibilities. Not a criticism, just pointing out a dynamic of the arrangement that may not be obvious from a distance. All in all though, I am happy with how it turned out. They were friendly, accessible and professional the whole way.

Great service from the beginning from the whole Nested team with helping to sell our London house from just before, during and after Covid lockdown. As we had vacated our home already Nested offered to “dress” the property with furniture free of charge to show it in the best light as well as virtual viewings during Covid lockdown. We secured a sale relatively quickly and very happy with the final price. Knowing we had the option of using an advance was an added selling point if the market was slow (in the end we didn’t need to take any advance as sold quickly through Nested). Overall very happy and highly recommended.
