Like pulling teeth trying to get an answer out of anyone. No hope that they will actually pay but happily took my money for three years without any claims. Poor at best.. avoid, avoid, avoid!

United Kingdom | 08 May 2021Premium keeps increasing every year, when questioned on this and explained that they were offering cheaper quotes for new customers, proceeded to say the quotes I got were misleading and said it would cancel my policy if didn’t receive a reply within 24 hours. Clearly my decision to become ill during those 24 h was a bad one, I should have remained up to check my emails! So now I got no cover and nothing I can do about it. Just terrible.

United Kingdom | 29 April 2021Bad. Currently fighting them via the ombudsman (funny, I am not the first person to need the ombudsman judging by other reviews). If you want a stereotypical insurance company that will find ANY excuse not to pay out, then these guys are for you. For anyone who wants a company that actually care about their customers, look elsewhere.

My dog suffered a torn cruciate ligament and whilst I didn’t realise how big an operation this was, 4 Paws were excellent throughout. From my initial phone call right through to his rehab, they have been brilliant in their communication and caring in their interactions. Well done 4 Paws

United Kingdom | 16 March 2021Avoid this company at all costs. We took out the insurance and make only one claim for our dog. The time it took to claim the money back was ridiculous. Then to add further insult they decided to increase my premium by 80% based on one claim !!!! I made a complaint which they responded to say they won’t uphold my complaint so now I have now other choice but to take it further to the ombudsman 18/02 The response is as you can see below is they did pay me out. But it took a while and me having to chase all the time . And to still increase my premium after 1 claim by 80% defies logic. I have raised the case my the ombudsman. Funny how they say all the time please call us to help if you need any help. Why can’t they call us ? They have our details on file

United Kingdom | 10 March 2021I felt between my Vet and 4Paws I was let down regarding the excess and time it took to settle the large invoice. I was shocked the two procedures relating to the same treatment was treated as separate claims, therefore the excess was charged both times?

United Kingdom | 10 March 2021My little Lhaso Apso had a cruciate ligament operation in January 2020. 4 Paws were fantastic liaised with vet direct without us having to get involved . Unfortunately,in January 2021 my dog was diagnosed with bladder stones and she ended up having an operation. We are so thankful to 4 paws who again dealt with the issue direct. On contacting 4 paws to express my thanks they were extremely caring and asked how my dog was and even asked how she was a year on from her cruciate ligament op. Would not hesitate to recommend 4 Paws to anyone who wanted to protect their animal against the unexpected

I pointed out that my salary hadn’t increased 50% in this pandemic age. They refused to alter it. So I will find another insurer.
