As my dog has an ongoing condition, the premium jumps up steeply each renewal plus there's the obligatory excess of £90.00each year. But as it is an existing condition I'm "tied".

Poppy's Operation My dog needed an operation as she had ripped her crucia ligament. I phoned 4 Paws Pet Insurance to explain and they were really helpful and friendly and confirmed that she would be insured for the whole procedure. They asked that once I knew who she was to be referred to I would need to let them know. I duly telephoned on the day of her operation telling them who was carrying out her operation (they knew of the referral practice and approved of them) and a note was made on her file. The claim was handled very quickly and stress free. I now have a very happy dog who can run around and chase her ball again.

I was extremely pleased with the handling of our claim. We were dealing with a crisis as our year old puppy was diagnosed with inoperable cancer. So at a devastating time for our family we really appreciated the care and consideration taken by 4Paws, who dealt with our claim quickly and with great empathy.

Nor sorted my problem my dog died and Iv not Been supported and Iv been expected to pay money!!!! Absolutely disgusting and awful company payments made and taken even When my dog died took more money and he died in August and it’s now December and it’s still not resolved and no payments received absolutely disgusting and I’m so disappointed in it all!!!! Not only am I heartbroken I’m also money down!!’n

Jack became poorly with what l thought was a bit of constipation, so we had a visit with our vet, on a Saturday, who gave him some medication, but by Monday he was no better, so back to the vets we went, where they kept him in, did scans and x rays and found he was really blocked up, so they had to flush him through poor chap, he was in there for 48 hours which to us was forever, we finally got him home on the Wednesday afternoon, it took him about another 3/4 days for him to get back to some sort of normality, 4 Paws were brilliant, they liasoned with our vets, which took a load of of us, we paid our excess and 4 paws did the rest, l highly recommend them, after all when your pet is ill, all you want is to be able to have everything sorted with no fuss and hassel, so thank you 4 Paws.
