If you are in the market for a fixed annuity you owe it to yourself to look into Canvas Annuity. Their rates are hard to beat and the customer service is superb. These days fixed annuities are likely the best fixed income investment for the conservative investor. CDs, Treasuries, money markets and comparable term corporate bonds can't compare. I've been laddering fixed annuities for the past few years and intend to continue to do so until there is a compelling reason not to do so. Canvas Annuity is a great choice.

Originally researched online and had a couple policy questions, so I called. Canvas was able to answer my questions completely. Applied online a few days later and all went pretty well. Only suggestion would be to identify all required fields on all forms/screens; needed to use "chat" to clarify that I was not able to process beneficiaries without including email addresses. Overall though, pretty easy and fast process.

Annuity was simple to setup online, I funded with a check through the mail it was applied to my account quickly the whole process was less than a week I'm impressed.
