The online claim of how easy it is to buy annuities at Canvas was an overstatement of the reality of actually purchasing them. The extra forms that were required to be filled out were furnished and then returned, with several questions required to be answered. When the applications were approved and assigned numbers, they forgot to tell which numbers went to which annuity. I had to request the information as to which number went with which annuity, as they were for different amounts.

The application process was easy. Most of the application was completed on line and by e mail. I did call an agent at one point to ask a question. He was knowledgable and professional and answered my questions to my complete satisfaction. All in all a very simple process.

My experience was great. In fact, it was so good I bought two Annuities. Customer service and and the licensed agents were very helpful especially Devon. I am now encouraging my son to consider Canvas

Best interest rates we could find, even the bank thought so and encouraged us to invest with Canvas as they could not compete with them. It was easy to enroll and did not have the hassle of dealing with commissioned representatives. It is a self-serve investment unless you wanted help and then it was available. They tell you ahead of time when the rate will change on upcoming dates. Love it!

This is my 2nd annuity with Canvas and the rates and online application are great. On my 1st application I called and asked some questions becausew the company and process were new to me. The rep was very knowledgeable and helpful.

as i had CDs maturing, i was searching for an investment for an appropriate portion of my assets (outside of the stock market) and learned of Canvas Annuity, and their online process. I also researched their ''parent'' company Puritan Life, and things looked good. The online process is detailed, but easy to complete. I have purchased 3 separate annuities, and with the options for 10% penalty free redemptions per year, if needed, find that these are a good area in which to invest!

The customer service representatives were knowledgeable. When they were unsure about specific details regarding qualified funds, they told me that they would have to clarify this. I appreciated how they got me the correct information I needed rather quickly and also followed up with me almost immediately. My only wish is that their call center had more extensive operating hours. Nevertheless, Canvas had the best available rates and most flexible terms for annuities that I could find after conducting extensive research.
