Terrible workplace starting with supervisor Jack throwing keys at drivers and calling them useless, health and safety issues such as broken roof above pump making site dangerous during storm. Dont rent your car there unless you support bad workplaces with constant mobbing.

I was met by a lovely and capable young lady at the Sixt counter in Cork airport who efficiently handled my booking. She was friendly, kind and explained the process thoroughly. My drop off experience was equally pleasant and I received an email confirmation that all was in order before I landed at my onward destination. The car was clean, full and did its job. All in all, a top notch service and I would be pleased to recommend Sixt accordingly.

I rented from sixt at Dublin airport. It was quick, easy and the staff were friendly . The car was in new condition and what we asked for. Easy to find for rental return. would use again

I delivered my Sixt car directly back to Dublin Airport parking Area for Rental cars @ 5.30 am recently. This had been agreed in advance. Several days later € 40,- were deducted from my Credit card - for returning the car outside of the opening hours. After email communication with Sixt Ireland I was immediately refunded the € 40,-. Very customer oriented!

Great service - Sixt at Dublin Airport have a great team, always professional and friendly. Cars are always maintained to a high standard, I'm generally rent from Sixt wherever I travel, but the team in Dublin are a cut above any other location that I've rented from.

I regularly rent cars from the SIXT office in South Dublin and always find the service first class. Staff are polite and efficient. Cars are always ready and spotlessly clean. They have implemented a new checkin system which is super fast. The last time I was ready for the road in less than 10 mins. They are by far the best car hire company I have dealt with.

Very quick turnaround at pickup at the airport and clear explanation of the documentation and where to get car. Also very handy return. Refund of deposit came quickly

A dublino.purtroppo abbiamo subito un danno alla macchina, nonostante la copertura totale dell'assicurazione.ci chiedono i danni e se vogliamo la macchina sostitutiva.chiedono un altro deposito cauzionale.lo trovo veramente scorretto e vergognoso la poca empatia x dei turisti.una grande fregatura x essere gentile!!!! Un schifo totale

Absolute crooks. We visited from Australia and hired a car with full insurance. We were in an accident and returned home - no contact from Sixt - then about a week later they took over $4000 from our credit account - no email, no authorisation, no invoice - nothing. I call that theft.

Have used them for years but my experience this Christmas will make it my last time to hire a car from them. It was not made AT ALL clear that we were being charged for premium insurance, so the rental turned out to be more than double what we expected. In order to cease the premium insurance once we discovered we’d been charged, we then had to return the car and take another one, for which we were charged at a higher rate, even though we said we didn’t want to pay any more than the original car. We only realised this later when we saw vat had been added to the cited price, in the complicated invoice, and confirmed for me that Sixt are not transparent with their billing: they have gone the way of Ryanair and Amazon in trying to trick you into paying more than you want. After dealing with a couldn’t-care-less woman at the airport desk,the guy at the head office was sympathetic but couldn’t help, only offering, “contact customer service.” Have already wasted most part of a day of my Christmas holidays and €800. Hope this review will save others the same unpleasant experience.

Wir haben ein SUV in Dublin für 1 Woche gemietet. Bevor wir losfuhren haben wir alle Schäden dokumentiert. Was uns nicht aufgefallen ist, dass 2 Reifen total abgefahren waren. Bereits nach einem Tag mussten wir ständig zur Tankstelle um Luft nachzufüllen. Nach 2 Tagen ist uns ein Reifen geplatzt! Lebensgefährlich! Das Fahrzeug musste abgeschleppt und ihnen Werkstatt gebracht werden, wo der Reifen gewechselt werden musste. Die Abschleppkosten und den neuen Reifen haben wir bezahlen müssen. SIXT hat uns am Telefon mitgeteilt, dass wir für die Kosten aufkommen müssen, da der Reifen geplatzt ist, als das Fahrzeug in unserem Besitz war. Unglaublich, ein Fahrzeug in diesem Zustand rausgeben und sich dann den Reifen bezahlen lassen. Der Mechaniker meinte, dass es unglaublich ist, dass man uns mit solchen Reifen losfahren liess! Unsere Versicherung von Mietwagen-check de ist im Nachhinein für die Kosten des Reifens aufgekommen, nicht aber für den Abtransport des Fahrzeuges. Was mich am meisten stört ist, dass Sixt jetzt einen neuen Reifen hat und den nicht mal bezahlen musste. So kann man sich die Reifen günstig finanzieren lassen. Der Kunde bezahlt. Dies empfinden wir als Frechheit. Und ein ganzer Ferientag mussten wir dafür opfern. Nie wieder SIXT!

Rented a car for the first time at dublin airport. Got to the desk, and was told to pay 1500 deposit using a CC or pay extra 35€ per day, or else we wont be able to secure the car(btw we weren’t informed about this prior) for insurance purposes, even tho i already paid insurance from booking.com. So we did pay for It cos we were in need for a car. But that was just the start of it. According to their website returning vehicles is 24/7, BUT THATS NOT THE CASE! we weren’t informed supposed to fly at 6am do we got there at the return office at 4am with other 5-6 cars, who were also not informed about return policy, but the office is closed, no information to be seen anywhere. Phone numbers were provided but no answer. Then the milk man stopped over to deliver milk and thats the only time we found out that the office actually opens at 5am, imagine the milk man had to tell us. Comes 5am no staffs to be seen. They finally opened the gate at 5:12 and our flight was supposed to fly at 6am, gate closes at 5:35. So yeap, we missed our flight and payed 200€ each to catch the next flight. So yes, thank you sixt!

I was charged €570 for 2 marks on a car i rented in Biarritz airport. On receipt the car had multiple marks per the paperwork and i took photos. I queried the so called new marks on 2 different locations on the car that i used for a direct out and and back trip. The car got no abuse and was parked in a secure area. I also questioned the fact that the car was unclean when i received it. They were not interested in working this out and now a collection agent is threatening me with court litigation. Im not sure if i'll ever rent a car again. I feel scammed by Sixt. Zero empathy from them. I would have paid something towards the damage but 570 was ridiculous for 2 marks on a car already covered in marks
