I had a small issue with a loan where the employee didn't pay attention to a detail. Otherwise, we're trying to move our banking business to them and get used to online billpay.

United States | 18 April 2018Recently applied for loan unfortunately wasn't approved but, that's not what bugs me. The person who was helping me didn't offer any other options ,solution or maybe there's a different type of loan I could apply for.

United States | 18 April 2018website and phone app has limited options and not user friendly. 1. App and website don’t have a option to view account number( not member#)you have to go look at your checks which 99% of the time its not on you. 2. phone app has no message features, so the 1% you actually log into your acct via webpage. you’ll see all the miss messages. 3. There’s no new customer packages, via how to order checks, member id, acct # etc... 4. you can’t change you debit card pin # without calling and waiting a few days! ALL OF THE ABOVE is a wasted time cause you have to message or call for each one listed! taking valuable time and headaches!

United States | 18 April 2018I have been a member of Genisys Credit Union (previously T&C - or - if you really want to go way back - Truck and Coach) for over 40 years. I have never had to pay any fees for checking and the only minimum balance required has been $5 in my savings account (and, yes, there have been times when it has gotten that low...). They have loaned me money at very competitive rates for cars, boats, home improvements, equity, non-equity needs, you name it. Their online banking has been secure and dependable. Their customer service department has been extremely helpful and polite. I wish there were more branches down by me, but other than that I would never change to another banking institution.

United States | 13 April 2018I love my credit union. When you go in or through the drive through the tellers act like they have known you for years and are happy to see you. The loan officers Linda and Heather are the best, helpful and kind, and knowledgeable. I have been with banks but will never go back. Thank you to all of you that work at Genisys Ypsilanti....you guys make my day

United States | 11 April 2018Would have normally given five stars, however, after I deposited a large check that Genisys wanted to hold for 10 days, I could only give four stars. I understand that it's regulations, etc., but the check was drawn on a national bank whose customer is a well-known corporation. I had to call several times to try and get the money in increments and then finally had to send a copy of the cancelled check the corporation it was from emailed to me. Of course I had to call to check to see if the funds were released after that because "Jason" (a manager) could not call or have someone call me to let me know this. Luckily, I was informed the money had been released when I called to see if the fax of the proof of the cancelled check had been received by Jason.
