Deposits at ATM's should be available next day. I thought they were automated teller machines. I don't understand why I can come into a branch office and make a deposit and the funds are available right away in most cases, but I do a deposit after hours at an ATM and I have to wait a few days.

I love that I get the small town experience with them. I can go in there and they know me by name and always have a pleasant greeting for me. When my husband died unexpectedly, they were there for me with condolences and suggestions on how to go forward with my banking and finances.

I have been with Genisys Credit Union since they were T & C Federal. I am very satisfied with their services; especially in the realm of security: I have had a couple of incidents with my debit card number getting stolen. Genisys has been extremely proactive on calling me when there is a questionable transaction on my account - even if it was legit. I don't go to the branches a lot, but when I do, the tellers are always courteous.

Genisys credit union doesn't help you they want to hurt your credit so they can make more money off you... I was $5 short on my payment that I didn't kno about for 2 month's they say and hurt my credit score.. Never got a call, email or letter to tell me I was short only $5 on the account.. I put more then enough in the account to cover anything that comes out the account.. They say member's comes first yeah right.. I never had a late or missed payment with this c.u and I been with them for over 7years now.. I never got a call back to talk about the situation just e-mails and the women will not listen on how the account was short only $5.. The c.u. does not give forgivness on late or short payments that is clearly a mistake so they attack your credit score for a measily $5..

Genisys is a great credit union. I have been a member for several years, @16yrs. They are always so willing to help. There rates are amazing. I applied on line for a loan, went in to a branch 3 days later & walked out with my loan finalized. It took 3 days because I applied on a. Saturday. If you need financial help contact them. I just referred my neighbor!

I was not very happy when I had to change my bank account I was not told when putting your member number on anything that it means it will be taken from your savings so now I am paying a fee because it was not dropped. As I can imagine I am not the only one that did not know or was not informed of this.

They are always friendly, they know me by name and speak to me by name on the phone and in person. They have always helped me with any problems I have had. I love my credit union

I was a Tripointe customer for over 30 years when Genisys took over. Customer service has gone down hill ever since. Just the other day, I had over $45000 in my account and I needed a cashier's check. In the past, cashier's checks were always free, but now they charge a fee. At my branch, they had a separate customer service and loan department with three employees in each. When Tripointe was taken over by Genisys, the loan department was merged with customer service and reduced to three employees. Now for a simple question I usually have to wait a long time because if they are processing a loan customer that takes much longer than normal customer service questions. When I asked management about this they said "don't worry, no one lost their jobs, they were moved to the main office". Management totally misses the point that there are less employees serving the members at this branch. Also, the main call center is uncaring and inept at handling any problems. Whenever something changes within this Credit Union it is worse for the customer. For example, the Bill Pay system changed in July and a car payment that I had been paying electronically with Bill Pay is now paid through Bill Pay by them mailing a paper check, now the payment posts almost a week later. How is this better for the customer? It is sad that this Credit Union is now ran like a big bank with upper management isolated and uncaring about it's customers. They also treat the frontline employees worse, many confide they are unhappy. I would not recommend this Credit Union to anyone.

One thing I really don't like is that since my debit card has had a chip in it i cannot use the credit option at kroger, can that be changed?

other than the joining bonus / 1x - 3x points, they are the best on services. Genisys has real humans who understand emotions and also understand customer problems, hence the sympathy and roll over of late fees.

I've never had any problems with Genisys. Their customer service has been good to me, and their website is aesthetically-pleasing and easy-to-use. I have a bit of trouble depositing checks: the zero-client version keeps saying the image is blurry or too small, and that is a headache, but I have an older phone, so that's probably it.
