The website works great, I can deposit my checks without an issues. I've only had external issues that I had to call about and they were able to help me out (very patiently and kindly too). I would recommend them!

Genisys offers great options for not having to a visit a branch, which is good because their branch offices aren't very convenient for me. Seems at times when requesting a service things get lost in translation Otherwise I'm happy.

The only complaint I have is I get locked out of my account after three attempts when I forget my whole security answer to the security question sometimes.

A member with a savings account shouldn't have to apply for a line of credit in order to have overdraft protection on their checking account. Also, your overdraft fees are VERY high.

I got a car loan through them a month ago. Not only did they rape me on the interest (9% on a brand new car), they have terrible communication and support. I cannot login online to see my car loan. All they did was send me a piece of paper to send back with where they will pull the payment from. I emailed them a week ago asking if I will ever have online access to view my loan or if they will send me statements or what. They never replied back. This is unacceptable. I have no proof of how much I owe. For all I know, after my loan is up, they could still be taking money from me and I would never be able to prove I've paid it all off.

Genisys is a great credit union to bank with. I had slight friction at first but nothing that couldn't be weeded out. I've been with Genisys for over 11 years and I love it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I live in Charlotte and the number of shared branches are far and few between. When we first moved down here there were an abundance of shared branches now there are only like 2. It would be nice if there were more shared branches. I would hate to have to go to another bank after all these years.

Genisys has been the only bank I've ever used and do not plan on changing anytime soon. The personal connection I can have with my local branch is something that keeps me there.
