United Kingdom | 15 February 2025I was referred to Richmond after I have been, quite frankly, abused by Eden Motor Group for the last 4 years in owning 1x Ioniq Premium SE, and now 1x Ioniq 6 Ultimate. WHAT A BREATH OF FRESH AIR!! I initially called a couple of months ago for a second opinion on some warrant repairs I was having no luck with Eden on, and had an open case with Black Horse on. The Master Technician, and Paul from the Service Deck were open, honest, and gave me good advice as to the work that would be required on changing my DSMs to glass mirrors (it was not possible due to the parts all being very different, the code in the car, and the sheer expense of this). I then returned as my rental property’s drive had been damaging my vehicles under trays. There was a miscommunication over day of appointment, but due to the nature of the damage, I was fit in within 24-48 hours of reporting the damage. Nothing was too much for the service department! Paul explained everything in detail in a way that I could understand, and with patience, given that I had a TON of questions, given my AWFUL experience I’d had from Eden Group, and I have had a lot to iron out and clarify! He also set me up with a new service plan and gave me all the options available to me, given my mileage - I preferred a yearly option. I have now just been back again for my software updates for the dreaded ICCU. Again - a wonderful service from Paul and the Service Team. I reported my passenger DSM motor had started to fail (after my drivers side has already failed and been replaced by Eden) - the lady took my phone with the photo on, emailed it to themselves and recorded the fault. Although it was not replicated at the garage - it is recorded for a swift fix the next time. No fuss, no arguments, no bother. Total night and day to my Eden experience! To be treated with kindness, patience, and like a human has often felt like too much in recent years, so to have found a business like this when you own a £50k car, I will be keeping them very close. Thank you Paul, and Richmond for making my life a little easier!!

There was a used car we wanted to test drive, so we went to Richmond Hyundai. Chris Charlton greeted us and remained friendly and warm throughout. He listened to our needs and recommended a different Bayon from the one we had originally considered, as it better met our requirements. We really enjoyed our time with Chris – as my partner and I, being somewhat introverted, appreciated that he didn't bombard us with idle chit-chat, nor did he come across as a typical, pushy salesperson. We had previously felt underwhelmed by other dealerships during our search for a car. Clearly, we don't know much about cars or PCP, as we have never opted for PCP before, but Chris explained everything in such a way that even a five-year-old could understand. He found us the perfect car within our budget, and we are very happy. So happy, in fact, that when my partner needs a new car we will only buy from Chris, and when it comes time for me to purchase one, it will also be from him. He has gained two lifelong customers in us.

He communicated well throughout and kept us up to date with progress which we very much appreciated. Jags made us feel so special on the day of collection. The car was covered over in the show room and he videoed us unveiling the car and placed a big red bow on the bonnet. Very well presented with attention to detail. Jags spent time with us going through the controls and checking we were happy before finally driving off in our New Cyberster GT. We couldn’t be more happy.
