United States | 22 January 2025There is no customer service at Airband whatsoever. have been chasing since November requesting an answer so far i have received an email saying look at our trustpilot rating (Which is shockingly rubbish) and wished i looked at it before agreeing with them. They are happy to take your directdebit with no time of when they can instal.....even though they may be fast it seems when things go wrong they are never there and more than happy to blame everyone else......stick to BT or EE at least they have a customer service that is actually helpful even though they are supplying internet speed at a fraction......not worth going to Airband until they have a proper customer service

United Kingdom | 22 January 2025Very impressed. Engineer notified me when he would arrive. Arrived punctually. Carried out work quickly, efficiently, and tidily. Ensured equipment set up in most convenient accessible place, connected modem and ensured system was operating before he left. Sorry forgot his name. Very happy so far, operating very well. Thank you

United Kingdom | 22 January 2025Recently had to renew my Airband subscription and I have not had many downtime in the last year, but still check out other offers on the market. Sarah Aybey has been following me up to see if I was going to continue with them after pointing out I had found a more competitive quote with more performance in speeds provided and my deal was matched by Airband, well done Sarah and thank you for keeping in touch 👏

United Kingdom | 21 January 2025Fast easy and reliable The customer service via email has been quick and easy ( although that was for a renewal) Initially the installation was taking place on a very stormy day and I expected a call to say it couldn’t go ahead (would of fully agreed with this decision) The install team Where superb They routed the cable where I wanted it they where quick and reliable They carried on despite the horrendous weather conditions and had the install up and running very quickly Not had any real issues with service Was getting 23Mbps with BT as they keep Stalling in my area for fibre optical to the premises,so chose Airband and now have reliable speeds of 233Mbps-297Mbps Have recommended to family in the area and they have also taken up the service Many thanks

United Kingdom | 21 January 2025We experienced very poor internet speeds or total loss and despite numerous telephone calls and emails had to wait over a month before someone from Airband eventually turned up. By this time, fed up with waiting and getting nowhere, we had transferred our internet provider to Starlink with much improved wifi speeds and great, prompt customer service. In our immediate area we have heard we are not the only ones to receive poor service from Airband.

United Kingdom | 21 January 2025Signed up with Airband a week ago, still haven't been contacted regarding installation although this was reassured to me that it would be up and running within few working days. It was confirmed to me that I was going to get a phone call regarding booking the installation either the same day I signed up or the day after. Here we are, day 6, no contact initiated regarding installation yet. Deeply disappointed as they have not meet the expectations I had nor what they claim they could provide. I intend to find another broadband provider have I not been contacted by tomorrow (Day 7). Update: Day 7, I called them, they said that they're doing some work and have a completion date currently 26th February! Absolute joke, considering I had made very clear that I would sign up only if this was able to be installed by 22nd January. Surely it's something they should've checked before taking my card details. All they had to say was 'I understand', in a rather patronising tone, nothing more nothing further. I hung up and contacted Vodafone.

United Kingdom | 21 January 2025The customer service is awful. They make appointments and no one turns up with no explanation. However, eventually we were connected the installation team is great and so far the Internet is as fast as promised. I wish I could give more stars but I can't sadly

United Kingdom | 21 January 2025Airband have been suggesting that they'll put fibre to my door for a few years now... they even put a new pole 200m from my house (planning application 4188/23/COM) and sent me letters saying that it was coming soon!! Promises, promises, but having pressed them on it in 2024, i was told that Devon and Somerset Councils weren't going to stump up the cash to allow them to invest. Apparently they knew what their plans were for 2025 and i wasn't part of them.... so given that i am 2km to the green box and i was stuck with copper for the foreseeable future which now prevents working from home. So i bit the bullet and accepted that i'd have to get Starlink as the only viable near term solution. I've invested in the kit and having my house made viable and it works very well for £75 a month, so its expensive, really expensive.... so when i got a letter saying i could sign up i was both delighted and frustrated. But again this communication is inaccurate. My post code has moved from onto the 'in the next six month;' list. I just wish that both OpenReach and Airband would get their stories straight, about when they are putting in the infrastructure and when we'd actually get full fibre....... that would allow potential customers to make informed decisions about whether they need to find alternatives. Please get your story straight and get your plans laid out, so your potential customers know when they can sign up, rather than making false promises or even saying incorrectly there's is no hope for years! I have been asked to provide evidence of my experience. In June 2022 i was advised that ''due for completion over the coming months. Many customers will be able to connect sooner than that as the network goes Live'' There have been plenty of back and forth since then, both directly and via the Strete Parish Council representatives. Happy to provide email chains and discuss with Airband if required. Date: Mon, 13 Jun 2022 at 19:13 Subject: Airband Fibre to the Premises Rollout To: Community Engagement Dear Resident or Business Owner, Airband has been working in your area over recent months building essential broadband infrastructure. This is part of a new Ultrafast fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) broadband network we are providing across a large part of rural Devon on behalf of the publicly funded Connecting Devon and Somerset (CDS) broadband programme. To date, we have provided over 18,700 homes and businesses in Devon with access to superfast broadband and we are now delivering a full fibre service, capable of delivering speeds of up to 1Gbps, to a further 46,000 premises over the next three years. We are pleased to confirm that construction of this new network is well underway in your area and is due for completion over the coming months. Many customers will be able to connect sooner than that as the network goes “live” in phases.
