United Kingdom | 14 November 2024I decided to take out Airband Broadband on 3rd November, after reading the Google Reviews I emailed them half an hour after placing my order. They responded to me saying they would get back in touch. I have contacted them multiple times since this and I keep receiving the same standard response. If they can’t get back to you before they even install your broadband, I wouldn’t like to know what they are like when you are an actual customer. I have a feeling they are delaying my response so that my cool off time lapses and I’m stuck in a contract with them.

United Kingdom | 14 November 2024Excellent installation by Owen. He explained every step and made sure things were working before he left. The connection is at the expected speed and seems much more consistent than the Openreach connection it is replacing.

United Kingdom | 13 November 2024The surveyors finished early the day before my appointment so called to bring forward. They did the survey and then went on to fit it. First class service from James and Chris T. The WiFi is much more reliable and no TV buffering yet. Great service. Sadly it’s all downhill since, the service seems to be off more times than it’s on these days and attempts to get it back on and stable have thus far fallen on deaf ears.

The whole process was quick and totally painless, plus receiving what I consider to be a very good deal. No hanging on with dreadful muzak in my ears, my phone call was answered promptly and the whole thing done in minutes in a friendly and courteous manner. Great service. Would recommend to anyone.

I left a review here previously regarding the external engineering team who came to lay the cables, but this follow-up is for Jack who came to do the internal install. He was prompt, efficient, let me know before he was due to arrive, and left the place clean and tidy. We now have far faster internet than we have ever had before, and the entire experience was flawless start to finish! Well done!

United Kingdom | 13 November 2024I have just cancelled my install as Airband are the most frustrating incompetent company I have ever dealt with. I applied in September, no problem they said. Their pole is 150 feet from my house, I can see the cable going up the lane. Every week I get told it's on hold but they don't know why, it has been escalated to senior managers twice and no response. Customer service just read a screen and tell me you can't speak to the build team and they are not informed as to why. Nobody remotely cares, I have now rung about 10 times, and I still do not know why they have me on hold. They appear not to want customers, weird seeing as they get £1600 grant from the Government for each install.

United Kingdom | 13 November 2024I had a challenge for almost 18 mths getting my full contracted internet speed, it was operating at about 50%. I had very quick responses for remote support but knowing the problem was local it took over a year to get an engineer onsite. However when I spoke to Donna Bond in renewals she was fantastic and pushed an engineer booking through that occurred within a week. In turn the engineer, Tony Peacock was excellent, diagnosed the fault, which was local as suspected and resolved the issue. Both Donna and Tony were very professional, clearly know their stuff and don't operate out of a Knowledge manual - a real credit to Airband. I have since renewed my contract thanks to both of them. Thank you Donna and Tony!
