United States | 18 March 2015When we decided on a security system we did like many would do and called everyone that we found in the yellow pages for pricing etc. What sold us wasn't the price or the equipment it was the sales rep contacting me in the evening after he and I had already talked and asking if my wife had any specific questions/concerns he could address with her. Steven, our rep, did this on his own time and that added touch of customer service is what makes Vector Security who they are! The service didn't stop there... Steven stopped at our house during the installation to confirm the technician took good care of us and once again addressed any questions/concerns. If you are in the market for a security system contact Vector Security. The product is well worth the money and their customer service is top notch!

United States | 17 March 2015I have had Vector Security for a year and a half now and I experience many network failures. The six LOUD beeps that announce the system failure are alarming and have frightened me as well as guests. The service itself is fine and if I would have said outstanding if it weren't for the failures. Someone was out here to correct the problem and I haven't had as many problems as I did after the initial installation. But there are still problems. I have another year and a half to go on this contract and I dont know if I will renew.

They forage signatures on contracts that they dont even tell you about. They say you can cancel any time but thats not true. This company and Total Connect Solutions is fraudulent foraging company and they lie and cheat.

United States | 23 February 2015I was very satisified with Vector Security until another company came in to offer me an upgraded system. During the time they were here I got to thinking that Vector never contacted me to see how things were going and if we needed anything. You pay every month and you never hear a peep out of them. Once I decided to change companies and I contacted Vector they acted like "Oh Well No Big Deal." They never said anything to deter me from leaving them. So that really made up my mind. Pretty sad that you pay all that money and they don't seem to care you are leaving. So hopefully the company I'm with now does not make me feel that way too.

United States | 18 February 2015We had Vector service for a number of years, once the equipment required maintenance, we were unable to get the problems resolved. The alarm staring going off at various times with no response from Vector. It took weeks and numerous calls to get the problem resolved. We ended up canceling the service and are now having difficulty getting Vector to stop drafting our account. We were no longer un contract.

No Upgrades
United States | 17 February 2015Vector has been providing us fine service for several years. Spent thousands with Vector installing system components less than five years ago. Now we are told that we have to pay for additional expensive upgrades because Vector's communications service provider wants to make changes. We don't think this is fair-- our current system is working fine-- if Vector wants to upgrade it, they can pay for it. If we need to look for another security system provider, so be it.

They are not the most popular company in my area but the have provided service that I totally trust. Customer service is fantastic and my system is continually updated and improved. Couldn't ask for more.

When I purchased my home in Tidewater Virginia for eventual retirement, I knew what my home security choice would be. I have been immensely pleased with the thoroughness of the monitoring and with the exception of only one technician, pleased with the on site services received at my home as well.
