We could not be more happy with our security system. Our tech was very knowledgable as well as super courteous. We would recommend him and Vector Security to anyone. We are thoroughly pleased with the service we have received.

Matt spent two hours trying to track down the issue of why my security panel wasn't communicating with the monitoring station. He determined that the issue wasn't with my security system but the line itself through TWC. He advised me on what to do in communicating with them about my problem.

I was finally contacted by an influential person from the company who helped me resolve this issue. Jeff took the time to call on his travel time and made a very conscious effort to understand my situation. Jeff made sure that I was happy with the resolution and assured me that this would not be an issue in the future as he spoke to the staff about situations such as mine. Jeff is a true professional who understands the concepts of superb customer service and because of his time and energy spent in dealing with my situation, I fully expect to return to Vector once moving back to my home state. Thank you Jeff for all you have done for me. I have thoroughly enjoyed my service until today. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I have to move and will not be able to use my service at my new residence in another state. I called to cancel and no one would return my call. 3 calls later I finally get someone who was unpleasant and not helpful. I was told when I got the service that I could cancel anytime and it was easy. The lady I spoke to stated I still had some time left on a contract (I certainly don't remember signing anything with contractual time limits and/or the salesman did a great job of covering that part up). The female also gave me some tedious method to cancel which seems as though its doing thier best to lock you in. This does not make me want to have Vector in the future when I get to return back to my home state and I certainly cannot, with a clear conscience, recommend Vector to anyone.

The wireless contacts work flawlessly and the web-based controls make it easy to check the status (and let someone in if there's an emergency) wherever you are. Also they are pleasant to work with. Highly recommend.

We would like to have an annual checkup to make sure our system is working properly. Also, my wife Judy called to inquire about adding cameras to our system and no one ever called her back

There have been a few occasions that required the intervention of Vector. On each of these occasions their response was timely and appropriate.

We have been Vector clients for 10 years. We live overseas and trust them to keep watch over our home. If I have one area of improvement I might suggest, it would be to shorten the time between the alarm going off and the contact from Vector to verify that everything is in order. 1-2 minutes would be preferable to 5-6 minutes, which is the norm.

Mickey is a master of sensor placement. I really liked the way he explained the security logic for the placement and effectiveness different sensor types to be installed. Roger, the installer, was very professional too. His installation techniques were neat and clean with a minimum of disruption.
