Ordered a 90cm cooker for my parents who are elderly. Delivery driver refused to bring it in to the house. Terrible would not recommend. My parents had to wait untill i finished work to bring the oven in.

No fuss. As advertised and delivered on time. Would recommend if you can accept the slightly damaged box packaging for a healthy price reduction. Gets my vote every time!!

A good buying experience. The website is good with plenty of photos. Telephone calls are promptly answered by knowledgeable staff Delivery is quick and the company will give an estimated time slot.

I purchased two items, oven and fridge freezer. Haven't used yet as they are for a kitchen extension in progress. I am reviewing the sales and delivery experience therefore. The website at the time I ordered was malfunctioning on the payment page so I phoned and offered to pay over the phone. They said they can't take payments over the phone and just to keep trying the website. That's poor as there's no reason a retailer can't take a phone payment. Yet the next day spoke to someone else and they did take a phone payment. Secondly I needed to change delivery address the day before it was due. The new address was just 2 miles from the original address and after refusing a number of times, they finally they accommodated the change. I just found it more hassle than it needs to be.

Do not bother buying from here! They are selling faulty appliances with no manufacturer’s warranty. My brand new microwave I bought from here only two years ago completely broke and I barely ever used it! And now nobody wants to be responsible for it as SMEG only deals with appliances that weren’t classed as “graded”, although brand new. That’s £200 down the drain. Please save your money and DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

The experience was extremely pleasant, Jess and Polly were extremely helpful. The appliance itself is immaculate - I can't find any blemishes at all. Delivery was within a week, very nice driver who was kind, knowledgeable and took care when bringing in the unit. Will definitely be using the Appliance Depot again - highly recommended!

Do not order from these crooks. I ordered a smeg from them, puportedly unused (It was wet inside the tube and looked used from the interior function wear and tear). The first plumber that fitted it over a year ago told me it looked used from the back fittings. It had an enormous scratch up the middle in the front, also dented, and various dents on the buttons and scuffs and mis-shapen corners as if it had received a fair bit of wear and tear or a serious bashing. I phoned and wrote to them about it but received no reply whatsoever. Furthermore, it stopped working after 6 months. The 2nd plumber I payed to find out what the fault was, looked up the code on the motor and told me the old rusty motor, dated back more than 10 years. It was covered in rust and missing a notch which made it clear it had been removed from another machine. This machine flooded and ruined my ceiling and wood floors, wasted money on calling out a plumber, and the company that sold it to me refused in any way to honour their responsibility. They never phone you back when they say they are going to, so you just leave call back notes and send emails. They are total cowboys, incredibly rude and defensive when you suggest they should in some way come to a compromise, replacing or repairing their 2nd hand goods they sell to you as new. I tried to contact the Ombudsman, but this company has a fake name, and is not the Ltd company it claims to be. As such you cannot take legal action, via the ombudsman. The company is NOT registered, NOR Ltd, and has two different names. One they use on their website, and another on their invoices, but neither of them are registered, according to the ombudsman. The reason they don't dignify warranties or complaints is because they aren't a real company, so you can't take action against them. Therefore they are fearless, as they know the worst you can do is write a review. But fools like me order without reading reviews, as you expect a new machine to be just that. I can see they replied below, but for a year and a half my emails and calls were ignored. NOW someone has replied publically, because I have published a public review. If you check google reviews you will see how many reviewers have had the same experience as me. The reply below states I was abusive. What I said to the defensive and arrogant girl on the phone was that I wondered how she could sleep at night, because fronting a scam operation, as the sweet female voice operating the phone, makes you just as immoral as the company you are working for. I told her that working as a sex worker would be more moral than her job, and she suddenly started shouting that I had abused her and called her a prostitute. I certainly did not, but I certainly rate prostitution as more moral than shielding a bunch of con-artists from their clients. At least sex workers perform a service. Fronting a scam operation, however, is a great dis-service, and makes you as guilty as company you are answering the phone for. That is all I told the young woman. The man in the answer below claims a manager was going to call me back. That is what you are told any and every time you call this company. Such has been my experience for a year and a half. If you check google reviews you will see that 80% of reviewers experienced the same issues as I did. The man in the reply below mentions that had I contacted them during the past year they would have sent someone out to repair the machine. But the point is, and you can verify this with all the google reviews written in the past few years, this company, WHEN they answer the phone, simply tell you that a manager will call you back. Emails, go totally ignored. So they protect themselves from ever having dignify complaints, by simply constantly avoiding contact and communication. I notice some peculiarities of syntax in the response from the shop below, that correlate with some of the positive reviews for this shop on this website. Interesting.

Though the fridge/freezer is graded as B because of its cosmetic damages, it is extremely good and the cosmetic damages is only very visible in two places on the right side. However, it was very bad to see just one (1)delivery Man to deliver such a very tall and heavy fridge/freezer. Obviously manual handling risk assessments I believe were not done before sending him out. It was pretty unsafe! AAA

Efficient and helpful service. Small fault on new cooker but they worked hard to rectify and now working perfectly. Would use them again.
