Excellent service keeping me informed on delivery

We bought a premium SMEG oven online. The saving was some 40% over the usual price as there were small areas of damage. These were clearly identified in the online photos provided by Appliance Depot and we were asked to confirm we knew we were buying something in this condition. The oven was delivered and to be honest, the marks were barely noticeable. The few marks that were visible were on the side and rear which is hidden in the oven enclosure. The front was in mint condition and all the SMEG accessories were included along with full guarantees from SMEG. We bought a £1100 oven for £611 and were delighted with the purchase and delivery. I have no hesitation in recommending Appliance Direct and will certainly use them again.

I purchased a graded refrigerator, knowing full well that it isn't a brand new item and expecting a few faults. It was almost 25% below the list price. The item arrived at the designated date, and when I called I received a fairly accurate estimate for delivery time. It was well wrapped, and the driver helped me carry it to our desired location. Everything works well - nothing to complain about :)

Having placed an order with another supplier (and paid for it) 5 MONTHS ago for my fridge, and getting the runaround, I came across this supplier who had exactly what I wanted. From the web site to Laura in sales and Lee the delivery driver I got a 5 star service. This company is honest, straightforward and easy to deal with. I bought a silver washing machine from this company thinking i done myself a deal, I was terribly wrong. THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY SELLING SECOND HAND BROKEN APPLIANCES, SAYING THEY BRAND NEW, JUST SOME SMALL SCRAPS AND SCRATCHES. I have been without a washing machine for over 4 weeks but still STEVE the so called manager is not giving me my refund . Horrendous service and disgusting attitude towards your customers 😒

Love this company and any staff that I have had contact with. So helpful and friendly and polite. My order did take a while to arrive by and due to the storm did not arrive on the delivery day. So they arranged a special delivery by courier so I did not have to wait any longer. Excellent communication. My parents and I have been back time and time again.

Please think and think again before buying from these people. We purchased a fridge freezer. Graded A. We very carefully looked at the photos and decided that we could overlook the few minor dents and scratches, being most of them would be hidden, once it was in place. The pictures of the side that would be in view, showed very minor defects that were hardly noticeable. On receipt of the item, the driver was very keen to get going, and left the item wrapped in the doorway. On unwrapping, the item it was a disgrace. Huge craters in the side that interfered with the door seals. I would say it is below a grade b, maybe grade 'take it to the nearest tip'. Customer services also matched well with the item quality, i.e. a total disgrace. Trying to blame me for the whole thing, agreeing that the item was not grade a, but then trying to make out I paid only for grade b. Refusing to exchange refund or even pick up this item. Ythey put the phone down on me without any resolution, hoping i would go away. These people are incredibly bad and I would say give yourself a kick before ordering from them, in other words keep well clear.

Purchased an oven from The Appliance Depot 19 months ago, with 3 year parts and labour warranty. Very poor quality product, as evidenced by having no fewer than 7 engineer visits to attempt various repairs. Oven finally exploded at the end of January 2022, engineer stated that it is beyond repair on February 14th 2022. The Appliance Depot have repeatedly stated they will not offer a full refund but that manufacturers, Whirlpool, will. Whirlpool state that The Appliance Depot will refund. Neither will budge. The Appliance Depot, in their most recent email to me, stated 'If you wish to take this further by all means please [do] so'. Thanks! I'm off to small claims court web site. BUYER BEWARE!

Really did not enjoy my experience with appliance depot. Ordered a refurbished smeg, on the date of delivery they would not deliver it due to there being steps down to my property. Having read their instructions in great detail beforehand as I’d had about 5 white goods recently delivered, their statement exclusively stated they would not deliver it if there were steps *UP* to the property, felt I’d been let down by their wording. Rang them stating this, while they agreed that their wording was wrong, was met with some of the least helpful people I’ve ever spoken to- no sympathy that my family had no fridge freezer for 2 weeks. Organised redelivered 2 weeks later and paid for extra people to help me with it, spoke to them the day before where the service agent said it would be delivered between 8.30-9.30am. On the day of delivery, having paid 3 people to be there for this time(~200 quid), rang them and the customer service agent said no one would have ever told me this time and it would arrive in the late afternoon. Rang around 11 to make sure it was coming and spoke to a horrible person who spoke to me with such contempt and patronisation. Received my fridge freezer after all of this, but would never ever deal with these people again. The most terrible customer service!!!Would rather pay full price for any good than give them anymore of my money.
