The annual service was carried out and my record card marked accordingly. He was polite enough to remove his shoes in my home. This is much appreciated.

I was visited the same day by a lovely young man called Marcus he was polite, and very informative of the product also of the history of the company when I asked question's. The fitting team got in touch with me on the Tuesday and my lock was fitted by the engineer today Wednesday 5th February. I can’t fault the impeccable service Banham gives to their customers. The lock I choose is very stylish and sturdy I’m really happy. All I can say is thank you Banham for supplying and fitting this product with ease and no stress, 5 stars all round.

United Kingdom | 02 February 2025Problem with our lock that is only 10 years old. Was told by the engineer that it was bad luck as some locks last a lot longer. When I queried this with customer services I was told that they had switched manufacturers so it really does sound like pot luck with regards the longevity. Engineer should have been able to replace lock but the wrong one was put on his van so he had to come back. An appointment was made but the engineer never turned up - turned out the job wasn't allocated. Was told by Banham that we wouldn't be charged due to poor service. Engineer booked again and lock replaced. A couple of days later payment was taken from our account. Based on the short life of our lock, the numerous times we had to call Banham to get this sorted and the time taken to get a refund, we wouldn't get another one.

I had not had a visit from Banham since 2023 which I mentioned, but was told last year was a very busy year for them. Despite this, I was still charged for the two services in 2024.

France | 31 January 2025The appointment for our routine annual maintenance visit was cancelled at short notice by Banham four times and eventually took place several months after it should have done. At the visit, the engineer neglected to change the carbon monoxide alarm, which should have been done. This was changed a week later, but then the company had the cheek to charge a call out fee, despite agreeing not to charge more than the cost of the replacement alarm. On the positive side, the staff are always pleasant and try to be helpful, and the alarm system appears to work well with few false alarms.
