I sent DNA, as usual, to get my litter’s results. The results were supposed to be in a month and a half before they finally came. I called multiple times with no help. The representative continued to say they were moving their lab and having delays. The false advertising of two week turn around lost my program money as I could not keep a pup from the litter without knowing the DNA results. Still have not heard from company even tho I have disputed charges with my Credit card company.

I love this company! Especially love how quick you are to send sample collection supplies and love postage paid returns.

I have used Paw Print Genetics for years with no problems until Neogen bought the company. I recently placed and order and sent them DNA samples - they received them on 12-11-23 and logged them in on 12-13-23. I was supposed to have results by 12-27-23. On 1-3-24 I called and was told they were behind due to the holidays. He said my samples were fine and gave me preliminary results. He said I should receive final results in a week. On 1-12-24 they emailed me asking for more DNA samples. I called the company on 1-15-24 and left a message with Amy Davis. She has not returned my call as of 4 days later. I have re-mailed additional swabs per their request but this wait is ridiculous. I am now waiting on another call back. Their phone system does not even work. If you try to stay on the line for the next available agent, they disconnect you.

We had a long delay in getting our results back. We have been used to great turn around times, so yes this was a surprise to have such a delay. I am mailing another one out today, and really hope return of results is better.

I have always used Pawprint with great success until now. My results took much longer than they ever have in the past. Especially considering that Pawprint already had this dogs swab. When I called to inquire I was told that the lab had moved but the samples had not been moved which is incredibly foolish. Needless to say, I’m very disappointed with the service since Neogen has taken over.

Ordered a test but got a report back with no result. If I had not of called to request a refund they seemed ok keeping my money, not running the test and sending a useless report. I personally would not recommend this company.

Lack of Communication, Need to up their Customer Service Game: Sample rev'd by company - results took 1 month & 11 days. Basic bred specific tests (DM & PLL). No communication initiated by company. I called after company set results available. Only then found out first testing attempt failed. Was told 2nd test was being done & was given another estimate for expected results. Results were later than that by a week. All happened around the Dec holiday but a full 3 weeks after submittal. I get holidays may have caused delays - but ... Telephone people were HELPFUL but had very limited info from lab staff - they did seek and find the info I needed, which I appreciated.

I sent dewclaws hoping that I would have results within 2 weeks of your company receiving then because that is what I was told when speaking to your customer service prior to ordering the tests. I kept the dewclaws for 10 days allowing them to dry in the envelopes the vet sealed them in & then rushed shipped them to PPG. The results were running late with PPG and I called customer service frequently but received no help from them. The results took 27 days from the date that they were received at PPG. I also sent emails through your website requesting information and never received a response on my emails. Your costumer service people are rude and told me “unfortunately it is common for the company to run late” and I was told by one rep (when the results were still not available a week after the due date) that she would check on it and send me an email but she never sent an email. I now understand why breeders warn against using PPG.

Excessive delay in delivery of color an diseasesanalysis results report. Furthermore, the report is wrong since they tell me that the specimen is m/m and visually it is a Merle dog.

I received 10 reports stating "no results", with a footnote saying this test isn't functioning correctly. No details on when it is expected to be running again, no word on whether or not my samples are still fine, just 10 reports of "no results" after spending $500.

I asked to transfer ownership of a dog. The process was easy, fast and the person I spoke to was very pleasant.

The test results came back a little longer than expected, but we fell into Christmas and New Year holidays, and I undertand they were very busy. When I looked at the results, the D locus test of my labrador came back with 2 copies of dilute D locus. It means my labrador is affected with diluted color and should be lilac color (silver). Silver labradosr are not accepted by AKC. OFA needs the D locus test for Labradors CHIC number. Both parents were tested normal with D locus. Both parents and the puppy are dark chocolate. And the note under the results said the tested labrador should be lilac color with 2 diluted genes of D locus. I tried to message Paw Print Genetics on line and no one returned my massage. So I called the office. They were busy , but I was able to get hold of someone after several attempts. The lady wasn't very pleasant. I tried to tell her the dam was tested at Paw Print Genetics. She should checked on her D locus result. She was clear/normal. Even with only the dam was normal , there should not be 2 copies of dilutes in the test result. The sire was tested with DDC Genetics. He was tested Normal and Clear too and their results can be checked on OFA. But she mentioned they need documents and pictures to proof to them that the parents were tested normal. Then she said she would open a dispute case for me and someone would call me back. I told her, I have all paper works on my dogs. To me, they should go and check who run the test and re-test to see if they made a mistake. They have records of one parents and if she was clear and normal. Her puppies should not come back with 2 copies of D locus. It is kind of scary, people who work at Paw Print Genetics do not have simple knowlege on how the DNA genetics works. I thought I save some money with their discount in November, now I have to spend more to have another Animal Genetics company to double check on their results. Note: As of 1/12/2024, No one from Paw Print Genetics contacted me thru email or phone. My dog's breeder contacted Paw Print Genetics and she was told the same that they have to pass the case to the manager and someone would call her back in 24 hours. So far, no one from Paw Prints called either of us. I do not think I would want to test my dogs with Paw Print Genetics anymore. I used DDC Genetic with all my dogs, the breeder likes Paw Print Genetics. I am just the unlucky one using Paw Print and lost my money with them.

Giving 5 stars because I got my results and I trust them. The company could be better at communicating time line as it took a week or two longer than promised to receive my results.

The kit came quickly and included what I needed. Easy to perform for average pet owner. Reasonable price and liked that they recommended test by breed. Results did take longer than expected- suspect due to holiday delays. One recommendation, after sending in the kit, I found online a form to be completed by veterinarian. If needed, at least mention in the instructions or refer to it somehow.

Hi there. I sent my results in in November… I am just getting the results today and the puppies are ready to go on Sunday. As per your website… It said two weeks! I am very disappointed. It is not my fault you guys changed your lab Location I think this was overpriced for the length of time it took 😞

I have used Paw Print Genetics for a number of years now, and am very satisfied with the quality of their tests, and ease of submitting samples. Their staff is very friendly and helpful.
