Please DON’T use them because they advertise holidays they don’t have. They’re sophisticated con and fraudsters. What they do is sell you a holiday that is non existent so that they can keep your money and generate interest. Surely someone should investigate and stop them because they are causing a lot of damage to families. We booked a holiday that was advertised and paid a large deposit, luckily we emailed the hotel to check if they can provide childcare and guess what we were not booked. We then checked the airline on the day of our departure and they didn’t fly on that day. Called Citrus holiday on several occasions and only to be told the person who deals with our booking is not available. Luckily we had used a credit card and they are now investigating.

I’m saddened to read the poor reviews about recent experiences over the Covid period. I would like to leave my review of a 10 day tour of Vietnam a couple of years ago. It was very reasonably priced, seamless connections and transfers and the most lovely hotels you could wish for. I really loved our trip and would definitely recommend. I truly hope this business survives the difficulties caused by COVID because they will be my go to choice and I can’t wait to travel with them again

I found the lady on the phone very helpful and she was very patient with me as I am slightly hard of hearing and I had to ask her to repeat alot she was very kind and understanding

Due to Covid our trip was postponed twice! We have now been waiting for a refund for nearly 8 months! Currently in the process of court proceedings…. Very quick to take your money.,. Not so quick refunding it despite promise after promise that it will be paid! Steer clear!

£7198 out of pocket with the trip cancelled in July 2020. fobbed off with "the airline have not refunded the cash" to "you are in the queue for payment by the finance department" and all the other excuses under the sun. Appalling in this day and age that crooks can still be trading. 2 ways forward. small claims court ay a cost of £455, or if they cease trading then credit cards and ATOL will step in. with so many people unemployed, strange that this tin pot organization are willing to throw their staff on the unemployment register.

It isn't often that I book a package holiday (I'm more of an independent traveller) and dealing with Citrus Holidays (which is just one of trading names in which I've received correspondence, which adds to the confusion) was more complicated than putting a trip together myself. In addition to the complicated procedures completed over the telephone (rather than a simpler, online option), full confirmation of flights and itinerary has yet to be received, nor has a receipt for one of three payments made. I would not recommend this company to others, nor would I use them again.

If I could give them 0 stars then I would. Absolutely atrocious customer service. Lie after lie after lie! It has taken me 16 months and a huge amount of time to get a refund from them. A ‘letter of action’ with the threat of taking them to the small claims court was the only way to gain the outcome that I was lawfully entitled to. Please do not waste your hard earned cash on these cowboys.

We did Kerala Odyssey with Citrus Holidays in February 2020, We were impressed with the Holiday, Everything else went exactly to plan. All the arrangements worked faultlessly. Rose was always available to talk and overall I would rate the holiday as one of our best, The guides on the whole were well informed and very enthusiastic about their area The Hotels were lovely and offer all kinds of facilities. We had a delightful driver who was incredibly reliable. The holiday was definitely a Wildlife/Nature, Backwaters& Beaches experience in a variety of settings and we saw various different aspects of Kerala life, overall I would rate the holiday as one of our best. We will certainly be re-booking with Citrus Holidays for another trip to South India in the future.

Worst company ever! Run run away as fast as possible. Found out our trip was canceled by looking it up ourselves they never told us this. Then when we requested a refund they tried pulling this "force majeure" junk and refused to give us a refund and tried to keep our money. I had to file a chargeback with my credit card and took months to get a refund. Just run away from this terrible company.

Happy with the help given by agents Mel And Ashley. Dissatisfied with my ticketing agent (who sold my ticket)- lack of info in the first instance when I needed to re-book my tickets due to pandemic!

Beware as the protection afforded by ATOL (only kicks in if the operator ceases to trade)will not stop you having to fight for every last penny you are entitled to should your holiday be cancelled due to covid. Citrus tried to charge cancellation fees on a holiday they could not provide and when eventually agreeing to a full refund as required by law and even their own booking conditions state they failed to make any refund payments or follow through on anything they said. Eventually we were forced to persue a claim via the credit card companies, as thankfully we used credit cards, and Citrus tried to dispute the claims and keep the whole payment once again! Thankfully and with the help of the credit card companies our claims were successful and 6 months after we should have travelled we have our money back. I have always recommended Citrus but would never ever recommend or travel with them ever again. Companies like this give the travel industry a very bad name. Beware.

Same story as the others, trip cancelled due to Covid and numerous promises of a refund forthcoming. No refund or offers for rebooking. Endless number of contact attempts gone unanswered. Not looking like anything is going to come of this other than what we may possibly recover from the credit card that we paid with.
