I have been waiting for over a year for a refund from my trip to Greece which was canceled due to the pandemic. They keep promising a refund but it never comes.

Booked a holiday with Citrus which was cancelled over a year ago due to the Covid situation. We refused to defer the holiday and were promised a full refund by 31st March, since then we have sent untold emails and have had great patience with their delays and promises. We had great sympathy for the travel industry during these unprecedented times but we have now reached the end of the line with Citrus. Due to advice on this site we have started proceedings through the small claims court. It took minutes to apply for and we are now hopeful of a prompt result. Please don’t hesitate to do the same if you’re still waiting for a refund. Citrus have fobbed us off and blatantly lied with refund dates. Shocking! Thank you to others who have taken the time to write reviews with great advice. Our nightmare is almost at an end. Update 26th Nov 2021 Citrus paid up on the last day before proceedings were taken further by small claims court. So thankful 🙏

I never gave a review on my only trip with Citrus about 3 years ago which I regret because it was amazing. We Booked a 10 day tour of Vietnam. All transfers were so smooth, the hotels were pristine and the tours they booked all wonderful. I’ve backpacked solo and stayed in 5 star resorts so have a wide breadth of travel experience. I thought their tour was exceptional value for money. Since Covid I haven’t traveled but when I do next book it will be with Citrus

I normally book all elements of my holidays by myself rather than have a package but saw this offer on the Citrus Website when originally looking on Travelzoo for a week's break somewhere. Jay and his team were so patient and helpful, organising all of the elements to complete the holiday. Flights were easy, taxis with helpful reps to get us from Naples airport to the port for our hydrofoil to Capri and then Ischia. Both the hotels were great, central, clean and well maintained leaving us to just enjoy ourselves. What's not to love. If you want a hassle free break then Citrus should do the trick for you. We booked a trip to Greece to depart March of 2020. The fine print said guaranteed 100% refund in case of pandemic. We are still waiting for our refund almost 2 years later!

My family have been chasing a refund for well over a year. They do not respond to emails or voicemails and when I am able to get someone on the phone, there are just empty promises. I have never dealt with such a shocking level of customer service. I am now worried that the company is a sham and we will never get the refund. I am going to have to start legal proceedings.

Received a payment link via email. My bank advised me that this form of payment is suspicious. I did some research and decided all looked okay. However, I made the payment on the 12th October and despite numerous phone calls and emails they have still failed to provide a receipt for my payment or the ATOL certificate. We are now concerned we have been the victims of a scam. Hopefully this will be resolved, but right now we can't help thinking the lack of communication or response to our requests is going to end in bad news. Not impressed at all.

Very nice and helpful with booking holiday. Only one problem was whilst having a slight delay problem of getting pay through our flights went up by a hundred pounds which was really annoying, as apparently the rep could have saved it from happening.

We booked a holiday received itinerary that was useless,when I asked was told you only get that just before you travel.Then covid restrictions hit the places we were to visit,so we said we would wait only to be told you will have to pay to move our holiday.After sitting down and haveing a discussion we decided to loose our money at least 2000 pounds.Pleasr do not trust this company and all the reviews I've seen lots of people lost their money.In my mind this company should not be trading please do not give your money to them.
