United Kingdom | 14 February 2025From beginning to end, the staff at the Inverness branch were excellent, professional & friendly. I had cataract op on both eyes &, although I wasn't worried about the procedure, they were very good at putting people at ease, explaining everything & answering all questions. The post op care & follow ups were very good too. If you are worried about having your cataracts sorted, don't be - it is well worth it; I can now see for miles, drive & do everything (except close up reading, which they did say would happen) without needing glasses. Bonus is that everything is brighter & colours are sharper. Don't hesitate, go to OE for your cataract op!!

Both were very lovely and helpful with regards to helping me find the best suited glasses for myself. Shoina has looked after my eyes for more than a decade so it’s always great to be back! I know I am in safe hands!

Vanessa's pre - and post phone call was so friendly, helpful, and informative. United Kingdom | 13 February 2025Shockingly poor service from the Norwich branch today. I visited with my husband for a consultation for laser eye surgery. We walked into the branch and three members of staff just stared at us. Not a smile or greeting was offered. Then all three spoke at once so I just blurted out my husbands name and that we had an appointment. All three ladies then started typing so we had no idea who was booking us in and there was no offer to take a seat so we just awkwardly stood around. One of the ladies then asked us if we were together (which we obviously were having arrived together) and then all three started twittering at us about oh we were just making sure and then told us who was dealing with us. This lady continued pecking at her keyboard, still not offering us a seat or showing us any engagement. She's asked for the name again so I've no idea what she had been typing or clicking around for up till that point. She then asks for all the information that was already on our booking form and also how we travelled to get to the branch which at this point felt utterly ridiculous. Another customer arrived in the branch as we were waiting to be booked in and was greeted with 'are you alright there?' by the red head. What an awful way to be greeted. We were then told to go and wait upstairs for someone. Just someone, rather than a name. 45 minutes later we are still waiting. No explanation, two members of staff just milling around and only a couple of assurances from other staff that we will be seen soon. Other customers arrived and were seen too promptly. We left.

From pre- op consultants Katie and Paul, and procedure Dr David Teenan and team, after care service to many to mention, this company was amazing everyone was very informative, very helpful and courteous. Even when visiting for my aftercare treatment my wife and I enjoyed a coffee and a chat with the wonderful staff. front desk through all departments were absolutely fantastic, as for my vision just about 20/20 which at 68 is good enough ... thanks optical express
