United Kingdom | 14 July 2021This company keep pestering me over owing SSE money for a pay as you go meter. They claim I have an account but they don't understand that its pay as you go and it's all under the landlords name. It's also laughable as the amount of money owing keeps changing and the dates provided don't add up. I have told them I will pursue this further.

United Kingdom | 10 July 2021This company has been pursuing me very aggresively for many months over an alleged debt with THREE mobile which I do not have relating a contract which I never had either. I have provided PDCS with written proof that THREE made a mistake and I have nothing to pay. In spite of countless emails, letters and phone conversations they are continuing to harass me. They have even had the cheek to offer me a 'reduced settlement' as some sort of favour. My reference is 23149384.

Spain | 01 July 2021Company started harassing me a couple of days ago: Text-messages, Emails, Calls. When I finally got hold of them via the phone they weren't able to explain to me where they have gotten my data from nor what this was about. There was a reference in one of the messages to E-on. E-on has informed me that there is no amount due and there is no reason for anyone to harass me - I should accept this as resolved. CAREFUL, this is scammy - or at least a very questionable - way of doing business. Will also report this to the UK regulators mentioned on their website.

United Kingdom | 01 July 2021Have contacted me continuously for the past 3 years I wrote a letter from Martin Lewis page to them asking to illustrate evidence of what it was for. They then responded with a letter of how to complain and said it was corporation tax of almost £800 to HMRC for the company I manage. Which I totally do not owe. The laugh is they have been contacting me for 3 years and the dent is apparently from last year.

United Kingdom | 07 June 2021Bunch of scamming thieves. I was helping a friend pay what is a fraudulent bill and you took £578.49 three times while your website was saying your transaction was not completed. I am going to the Police about your dodgy company and I will be contacting various consumer rights Tv shows to shut you down! 😡

United Kingdom | 21 May 2021This is a fraudulent company do not pay them any money. I have had multiple texts and emails telling me I owe money to united utilities (I have since called UU and logged into my online account and I am not only up to date but in credit) - I called Past Due to try and resolve and every time I gave them my name and my postcode (as written on the email they sent to me) they told me it was not what they had on record and therefore could not discuss the account with me. This is the second time I have had this happen - do not trust them or click on any links!

United Kingdom | 14 May 2021Called them, their on-hold recording goes on about how their customer service is excellent and how they are so client-focused. They didn't bother answering the phone.

United Kingdom | 10 May 2021I received a letter to pay a balance of £80 for Sky. I had no idea I owed anything to Sky but anyway when on with paying this. The number given on the letter doesn't accept calls and online system gives an error when trying to pay saying "The Authorisation has been rejected by the Vendor due to insufficient authentication. Please try a different card." Tried multiple cards - same result. HOW DO I PAY??

United Kingdom | 04 May 2021What happens when an 82 year old, non internet savy Scottish Power customer is given a wrong, hugely inflated bill (which takes a third party 29 emails to resolve by finally gaining the correct bill as per readings supplied 9 months previously) and meanwhile SP have passed the ficticious bill to Past Due Credit? They've levied a charge for their services! But when SP finally retract their wrong bill, Past Due Credit demand to be paid, not by SP but by the 82 year old who CANT GET ONLINE...and Past Due Credit only deal online. Ageist?

United Kingdom | 29 April 2021I received an email from this company in relation to a debt for £29 Vodafone is claiming I owe them.I rang them on the number given as requested but a recorded message said the number no longer valid ( you would think any reputable company could get its own fone number correct) and was given an alternative number. I rang this only to be greeted with another recorded message that due to C19 there was no one available to answer calls so either visit their website to make a payment or call back at a later date. I had no intention of making a payment as I’m disputing this alleged debt with Vodafone. This is the second debt collection agency that has contacted me, the first one was even more dubious than this one. I have emailed this company and told them to ring me as I’m not just paying this alleged debt because they are requesting it and wish to speak to a human to explain the circumstances.I am sick of being harassed by these people for an alleged debt which I thought I’d sorted out with Vodafone. I’m an elderly lady and I’ve never owed anyone anything in my life, it’s most upsetting to have these bullies hounding you when you have never been a bad debtor.

United Kingdom | 24 April 2021I have received 5 calls in two days . I believe it’s to do with Eon and arose because I had the temerity to change electricity suppliers! I have tried for the last year to resolve the situation between Eon and Scottish Power to no avail. I have written to the CEO and will now contact the owner of the companies to tell them how their company is working and making peoples lives a misery . PDSC also stands for a police department - is this known ? I have a husband being looked after 24 hours a day on palliative care . I don’t see why I should have to do other peoples jobs at this distressing time. I will report this matter to the Financial Conduct Authority. Thank you for giving me the opportunity of sharing my experience and let’s deal with it. Linda Wilson

United Kingdom | 24 April 2021Received claim from PDC after Road Tax lapsed. The problem with debt collectors are they are bullies. Companies go to debt collectors because they are cheaper than paying their own staff. Hence the quality of people you deal with. You do not get things resolved because you have no direct company contact with the people you owe money too. You are accused at times of things that are incorrect because the information sent to the debt collector is old. A major problem with credit reference agencies as well. Using debt collectors also protects the reputation of the company you owe money too. This practice of immediately going to debt collection agencies should be made illegal as it is threatening, bullying and can destroy a person credit reputation. Unless, the case has been issued for recovery through a court.

United Kingdom | 22 April 2021SSE Selling Personal Data to Scammer Companies I was working with another company but they transferred SSE. I have always paid my bill but SSE authorized a debt collector company lcsdr.com Because I have already paid all my bill I confused and try to reach customer service for days and weeks send 3 complaint form to get any clearance. Finally, I contacted LCSDR and told them I don't have any debt. They removed my name and today I had another letter from a different debt collector company which is threatening me. I hope you all burn in hell. I will change my gas supplier ASAP.

United Kingdom | 21 April 2021This has to be one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Apparently a tenant left one of my properties (I have 15) without paying a small SSE utility bill....I want to pay it-impossible to speak to anyone. Just call me Claim no ID 23254614 J Grace
