I ordered a hotbrush for R892 was promised delivery towards last week of June 2022. After reading all the negative reviews I am now worried I have lost my money too. I have gone to the police station and sworn an affidavit to say Trustpilot and Hellopeter have only negative reviews from this company. Why does someone not do something about this, they will keep taking money from people!!! Can Trustpilot or Hellopeter not come to our rescue?

My Order #000022993, Placed on Jan 27, 2022, 4:10:33 PM and paid on the same day, has not arrived yet. I am still hoping that it will arrive, because it cost thousands, or am I naive?

It is absolutely disgusting that a company like this can continue operating and advertising product !!!! I paid for an air fryer to the value of R 8,090 in November 2020 that was never delivered. They keep on advising that they have issues and 8 months ago promised me a refund which I am still waiting for.

The first order No.0000020358 done on 05/09/2021, they delivered only 3 Items, no refund for the one that was never deliver. At least they responded to email, which misled me thinking they will resolve it. I then place another order. On this order the status says 'Partly Fulfilled'. I placed another order and paid in full for it during on 3rd October 2021. I have not received my order till this day. Order No 000022611. I have contacted customer support with numerous emails. No one responds to any of my emails. And you know what's funny, the status on this order says 'Fulfilled' This is bad man. Why are we even giving a star???These are scammers and fraud. I am writing this update on 06/05/2022. Karibaa has finally sent me my last order. I had given up. Only one item is not yet delivered from the very first order. Thanks Karibaa.

I bought and paid for a nailpuller R984-00 (order no #000021102 ) on the 30/9/2021it is more than 6 months now and i hav'nt received anything,at first they made all kinds of excuses and now they have gone silent! I have made a police case,so there day of reackoning is coming ( fraud is a serious offense,jailtime and criminal record) If they give me my naipuller or money back i will drop the charges! I find it difficult to believe that a rugged tool like a nailpuller could be damaged (what damage does it have,i could live with a few scratches, i am going to use it for rugged work anyway..so tell me what is wrong with it? HALLELUYAH !I received my nailpuller in perfect condition! 7months and 8 days after paying for it, the company has changed ownership, i am appaled by the fact that no notification was posted to say there was a problem in the more than a half a year i had waited ( i think i know why but won't mention it here) i think a lot of people feel very let down, and the new managwment should reach out to those people,not wait for us to contact them,the consumer board contacted them on my behalf with threats of consumer court action. This was my first venture into online shopping and the last to me it is not worth the massive hassle it caused me, back to the old way of doing things merchandise one side ,payment other side exchange over the counter sweet and simple!! I must as add the new management is trying to make good,so support them if you will,but for me online shopping is a thing of the past!

There is no option to give no stars! This company is a scam, they take your money and do not deliver the goods. There is no answer to emails when requesting a refund and the phone line does not work at all. Do not purchase anything from Karibaa, they are frauds and thieves. I wish I had read reviews online before purchasing anything from them.

This is to formally inform everyone that Karibaa Online Shopping is a scam. They place goods online and asked you to either pay through using a credit card or bank deposit of which they come back telling you the good is out of stock. They will then not refund your money, they don't pick up their calls (0115687959), and will not respond to your email. It is for over 2 months. I purchased a good worth R3650 from them and made a deposit into their ABSA account, thank goodness I didn't use my credit card. I was told they are out of stock and have tried sending several emails and called for them to refund my money without any luck or response. I really don't know what action the South Africa Government is taking against this fraudulent company scamming people of their hard earn money. Please resist purchasing any goods from them or else you will also be a victim

Useless, no one answers the phone and no one bothers to email you back. I have ordered a birthday present for my daughter and now I have to break her heart with no gift. What a scam. Get someone to call me regarding order 000022522

I ordered and paid and they informed me that they are out of stock and will give me a refund. It is now 2 months and still no refund. They do not respond to my emails and if you phone nobody ever answers. There must be a way to expose them and summons them? Please stay away from karibaa.com!!

They lie about delivery time. Unless you are prepared to wait months and are truly hardup to get an item, use anyone else.

I ordered a table lamp and paid R1,800 for it already on 29 September. Karibaa communicated regularly and promised to deliver the lamp to me during the first week of November 2021. Then they sent another letter saying now they can only deliver in January! All of a sudden, they IGNORE my emails and don't communicate at all? I was happy to wait a bit longer for delivery but now they say NOTHING any more and I am waiting more than two months already as today is 1 December 2021!

On 20 July 2020 i ordered products just to have them a day later state that they do not have some and will refund me - they refunded me half the money paid for the items (short refunded) - then the remainder of the order was delivered in dribs and drabs with some items still outstanding. I have written mail after mail after mail with no response - in January they said my products will be despatched shortly - 10 months later?????? still waiting for my products and the remainder of my refund. Unethical fraudulent behaviour. I think someone there deposited the money due to me in their account and reading the reviews it seems a trend...

I placed an order on 26 September. I received an email informing that the products will be delivered "in the week of 18 October". I sent an email on 25 October requesting a delivery date. I received no response so resent the email again on 2 November - again no response. I then resent the same email again yesterday and have finally received a very poorly worded response advising that it will take about another month or two because of shipping delays. So, they have had my full payment including shipping since 26 September. Is this a scam to get cash, bank it and gain interest and then simply offer a refund less admin fees? Anyone have some advise for me?

This is the worst experience I have had ordering online. I ordered skin products 8 September and received an e-mail that I would receive it around 3 October since orders take between 7 - 15 working days. I received one of five items on 14 October. We are now at 35 working days... They do not respond to e-mails and their telephone line does not work. They appear to be fraudulent. I will never order from Karibaa again! E du Toit, Paarl
