New Zealand | 19 December 2024I had a terrible experience with this company and regret booking with them. I made a reservation for a specific room, and they charged me right away. Later, they claimed they couldn’t provide the room I booked and offered something completely different—nothing close to what I paid for. When I requested a refund, they refused and left me stuck with an option I never agreed to. This is clearly a scam. They lure you in with false promises and then refuse to take accountability. I didn’t check the reviews before booking, but after this nightmare, I saw that many people have faced the same issue. If you’re considering booking through them, save yourself the stress and look elsewhere. Companies like this take advantage of customers and ruin travel plans. Don’t let them scam you too!

Dezelfde dag heb ik het hotel geannuleerd en ontving ik een bevestigingsmail en het bericht dat ik binnen 3 tot 5 werkdagen mijn geld terug zou krijgen. Na talloze malen contact te hebben gezocht en toezeggingen dat ik mijn geld zo spoedig mogelijk terug zou krijgen....nog steeds geen zicht op een terugbetaling. BOEK HIER NIET! Heb de reis via Trivago geboekt dus je zou verwachten dat het een betrouwbare partij is, helaas blijkt het tegendeel.

Consequently I had to pay the hotel on the spot. Have been following up with the company for over two months for refund now but to no avail. They keep making new excuses everyday. Canada | 18 December 2024I am still waiting for my refund that I canceled on October 20th, and waiting for my hotel confirmation, since the hotel said that there's nothing under my name but prestigia said its well confirmed. Edited: I just came back from my vacations with prestigia and my refund was issued about 2 months later that's why I am giving this rate, everything in the hotel was excellent, they just need to get better in the refund time.

United States | 18 December 2024Travelers Beware!!! This company is a scam company. They will advertise low prices for your select hotel. And then after you pay, they will tell you that that hotel is not available and they can suggest you something else. If you don’t go along with it and you request a refund, they say it will take 3 to 5 business days, but it doesn’t it will take much longer to get a refund. I am seven days in and I’m still waiting for mine. Now that I’m calling no one is even answering the phone. They know what they’re doing. Unfortunately I booked with them 10 days before I was due to travel. Big mistake. Luckily I had enough money to book another hotel. But I’m still waiting on my $2200 refund. I was anticipating on using that money. I am so disgusted that I trusted this company. I would never recommend you traveling with them.

United States | 17 December 2024DO NOT USE PRESTIGIA!!!!!!!!!!!! I booked a one-night stay using Prestigia for $400.13. The hotel called me the day of my stay and told me they never had the room available and they could not fulfill the reservation. I have called Prestiga multiple times over the past 6 weeks and I get "we're escallating this to the refund department" every time I call. I'm 6 weeks in now and have just concluded that Prestigia has stolen my money.

Sweden | 16 December 2024Vi hade en confrimerad bokning som de Prestigia avbokade dagen innan. De lovade full återbetalning. Men trots flera påminnelser så betalade de inte på mer än 5veckor. När vi kontaktade Amex så löste det sig på tre dagar. Hotellet som vi bokat via Prestigia visade det sig att de inte har. Hilton har inga samarbeten med dem. Trots det kan man forfarande ”boka” hotellet via Prestigias hemsida.

DONT USE —— ———the replies below is all for show so more people can try and prestigia gets away. 3 digits from thousands of customers fooled is quite an amount so pretending you care here might scam few more. That is exactly the email Ive been sending follow ups and being ignored. What difference does it make if I give you more details here. STEER CLEAR, CLEVER ENOUGH TO SCAM MORE PEOPLE (you can see the themes here around refund promised and ignored same response like robots no one cared and at end takes 3digits away after refund - I cancelled within hours and they take your money instantly) go with something like booking.com who does not take money during booking and has free cancel too.

United Kingdom | 15 December 2024Absolutely awful - will not refund me. I went to New York on 12th November. I had booked 2 rooms with prestiga. When I got there I was told that only 1 room had been booked despite me having confirmation of the 2 rooms. The hotel said that they would sort it by creating the booking for the second room. Little did I know they charged me for the 2nd room under the guise of a security deposit. Then when I noticed a few days after we left there was a charge i didn’t know about. After £75 worth of phone calls back and forth I was told to call prestiga. Initially they seemed helpful. Now they are just stalling and refusing to refund me despite me sending everything they have asked for. It has been over a month now and I’m still no closer to my money back. Very dodgy fraudulent company. Do not use

After over 2 months and more than 20 emails filled with empty promises, I finally received a 50% refund for a booking that should have been fully refunded over 2 months ago. This only happened after I posted a review on Trustpilot. Now, they keep lying repeatedly, claiming they processed two refunds on the same day. However, more than a week has passed, and I have only received one refund. I highly doubt I will ever see the remaining 50%, as all I encounter are empty promises. If you want to lose your money and experience the worst possible service, book with Prestigia!

No entanto, no dia 23/07/2024, fizemos o cancelamento da reserva, e até agora não recebemos o reembolso. Entre e-mails trocados e chamadas, dizem-nos sempre que o reembolso está em processamento, e que dentro de 3-5 dias úteis iremos receber o reembolso. Agradeço o reembolso o quanto antes. É intolerável esta situação.

Brazil | 12 December 2024Prezados, reescrevo minha experiência, tendo em vista a ausência de resposta após a atualização solicitada pela Prestigia.com em mensagem anterior. No dia 27/11/2024 fiz uma reserva no Resort Tororomba pela prestigia.com. a reserva seria a partir do dia 29/11. Fiz o pagamento e, no seguinte, recebi um email da agência dizendo que o hotel havia comunicado que não tinha mais o quarto disponível. Ao longo do dia 28, ficaram de conseguir uma reserva equivalente em outro hotel. O email com a resposta só veio no dia 29, dia do meu embarque. Alegaram que, infelizmente, não haviam conseguido outro hotel e que fariam o reembolso. O problema é que não houve mais notícias e, muito menos, reembolso. Meu cartão vence em poucos dias e não tenho como arcar com o custo de algo que não usei. O ID é 5046664.

I cancelled on November 11 and was told I will get my money back in 3-5 business days. Today is day 33 and I have not got my money back. I call them every day and number of emails. They have the same script that says "It's been escalated". Don't use them at all, save your money.

Ireland | 11 December 2024I would never ever use Prestigia again. A friend booked 3 rooms for 3 of us through Prestigia. Due to reasons beyond our control we could not go and rooms were cancelled during cancellation period. My friend rang and emailed muliplicity of times requesting refund but they continually replied with same information, it’s in progress. After 2 months, she contacted trivago as this was site we found booking on. They contacted Prestigia and within a short period refunds were received. I would reckon without the support of trivago we would not have got the refund. Would not recommend Prestigia to anyone

Azerbaijan | 09 December 2024First, to be fair, I have to mention that I have previously booked a hotel via Prestigia and luckily everything went fine. However, my second encounter with them completely overturned my impression. I booked a hotel and paid a deposit on 22 September 2024. It then turned out that the rate description on Prestigia.com was somewhat incomplete and hence misleading, so I would end up paying a significant additional amount for the transfer which appeared to be included in the price. I notified Prestigia that I would likely have to cancel the booking and did so on 18 October, well within the free cancellation period. I received an automated email confirming the cancellation and promising a refund within 3-5 working days. It's 9 December today and the refund has not been issued yet, despite numerous reminders and their promises to expedite it. Once I even received an apparently false confirmation that the refund had been processed, but it hadn't. This is now beyond poor customer service. They do respond fairly quickly and politely, but that's all. The amount is around €185, not exactly crazy, and there's no reasonable explanation why it would take a legitimate business so long to refund it. That's why I call this a fraud attempt, especially because they lied about having processed the refund from their end (and then refuted their own statement on subsequent contact). My advice: if you need to get a refund from Prestigia, don't waste your time, just file a chargeback with your bank once reasonable time (e.g. 10 working days) has passed. Edit 2024-12-13: the refund has finally been issued, so I'm changing the rating to 2 stars ★★. Why wait for negative public feedback to issue a long overdue refund is still beyond my understanding.
