When I wrote the review regarding my refund, they immediately replied that it should have been reflected on my account on Sept. 27, however up to now, no refund has been issued yet. They are so fast in charging for the reservation but are very slow in refunding.

Mexico | 23 October 2024Prestigia.com es una compañía de viajes completamente deshonesta. Hice una reservación con ellos para mi viaje de vacaciones. Me enviaron un correo electrónico con un número de reservación, llamé al hotel para confirmar que tuviera esa reservación y ellos me dijeron que ese número de reservación no era válido. Me aseguraron que resolverían ese problema y nunca lo hicieron. Cancelé la reservación y me aseguraron que me devolverían mi dinero hoy hace más de un mes y medio de eso y hasta la fecha no he recibido mi dinero. Tuve que involucrar a mi banco para tratar de resolver la situación y ni eso ha servido. Prestigia.com tiene una larga lista de quejas de personas que han pasado por una situación similar. Cometí el error de no haber investigado antes de hacer la reservación, ustedes no cometan ese mismo error porque se van a arrepentir. Este es mi número de reservación 260724-NAJE-1597661 como lo ha solicitado prestigia en su respuesta de abajo, como ya varios han comentado su respuesta es rapida y ya incluso recibí un correo electrónico asegurandome que ya devolvieron el dinero al banco y que deberia de aparecer en mi estado muy pronto cuando no es así. Una mentira mas de esta compañia sin escrúpulos.

Israel | 20 October 2024I cancelled my Hotel reservation at NYC 20 October 2024 - only one day later, while still in cancellation window frame. It said, FREE cancellation before October 16nd, 2024. I was charged very quickly ha! It took 3 weeks to get my refund!!! A lot of emailing plus phone calls with the service to get my refund, meanwhile the currency rate was changed drastically and I lost part of my money. I was asking Prestigia to compensate about money rate change & the pain in chasing them but nothing! they dont care But as usual same reply "we are doing our best to improve blah blah" Not recommended at ALL and I will not use their service in the future *Edited: reading the reply, you keep ignoring the pain point in the process, and the money I lost because of your slow process. Still not happy.

Germany | 18 October 2024Finger weg Das Hotel hat mehr berechnet, als von Prestigia in Rechnung gestellt. Im Hotel wurde man auf den Anbieter verwiesen und hat zum normalen Preis abgerechnet. Seit 2 Wochen bekommt man standardisierte emails ohne Lösung

France | 17 October 2024MAJ 03/2025: Donc cela va faire bientôt un an que mon voyage aurait du avoir lieu et toujours aucun remboursement malgré des dizaines de relance, c'est du vol purement. FUYEZ ce site. Suite à la réponse ci-dessous, je m'attendais à une action de leur part, ET RIEN! J'ai relancé 3 fois & toujours le même bla-bla, c'est purement et simplement du vol! Fuyez prestigia.com. Je vais devoir porter plainte. Inadmissible, c'est du vol tout simplement. Je dois être remboursé de mon séjour, cela fait plus de 4 mois et ils continuent à m'envoyer le même email en copier-coller comme quoi c'est en cours...évidement ils ne me répondent pas. Franchement n'y aller surtout pas ce n'est pas du tout fiable. Je vais engager une procédure judiciaire de mon côté. Vincent

I tried to change my booking weeks before but was told a third party needed to verify, but nothing was done to change the booking. Prestigia will not give the name of the third company. The hotel was happy to change the booking and sent a written email to confirm it was fine. Now, I'm afraid to cancel because, reading all these reviews, I can see I won't get my money back. SCAM! DO NOT BOOK! HORRIBLE COMPANY! The third-party company is called UHI TRAVEL/ Umrah Holidays International (UHI). The company has an office in Dubai, and the number is +97144400600. I hope this helps someone who has been scammed and can get a refund through the wholesale company.

Canada | 17 October 2024I booked a room with prestigia.com and ended up having to cancel the day of the reservation as I could not make it to the hotel. I contacted the hotel directly and was granted permission to cancel without penalty as long as I was able to cancel with prestigia.com. After a few emails with prestigia.com's support they told me that I could get a full refund minus a $33 processing fee which I was fine with. It has been over a month now with numerous emails sent to the website's support asking where is my refund and I have been getting answers such as "it has not been processed yet" and "our staff is looking into it." I just want my refund and want to advise people that the customer support is not helpful if you have a problem so be careful booking with this website. Edit: It's been over 6 weeks now and still no refund and no attempt from their team to reach out to resolve this issue. 0 Stars

Não há necessidade de esperar tanto tempo 1ª Actualização Depois da minha reclamação do dia 16-10-2024, Prestigia.com respondeu aqui em 18-10-2024 a dizer que já tinha processado o reembolso. É MENTIRA. Já passou quase um mês e ainda não foi feito o reembolso. Relembro que já cancelei em 09-09-2024 e que disseram que demoraria 3 a 5 dias úteis!!! Já enviei emails, já telefonei, dizem que estão a tratar mas o facto é que ainda não recebi o reembolso que tenho direito. Lamentável e imperdoável. Penso que a própria trivago deveria ter alguma responsabilidade com os parceiros com que escolhe trabalhar. Abaixo segue a avaliação enviada por mim aqui em 16-10-2024. Através do trivago reservei um hotel, através de uma reserva reembolsável nº 060924-SANT-1615713, no site da prestigia, no dia 06-09-2024. A reserva dá direito a reembolso integral se fosse cancelado até 10 de setembro de 2024, fiz o cancelamento no dia 9 de setembro de 2024, e até agora ainda não recebi nada. Já enviei emails em 25-09-2024 e em 12-10-2024 e também liguei por telefone em 30-09-2024 e sempre me dizem que vão fazer e para aguardar mas já passaram 37 dias e ainda não recebi nada. Segundo o Site o reembolso é feito em de 3 a 5 dias no máximo. Esta é uma situação muito desagradável que me está a causar inúmeros problemas financeiros e pessoais

Auch wenn man innerhalb der angegebenen Stornofrist ordnungsgemäß storniert, erhält man sein bereits abgebuchtes Geld nicht mehr zurück! Ich warte jetzt bereits über einen Monat, obwohl eine Bearbeitungszeit von 5 - 6 Tagen angegeben ist. Auf Anfrage wird man immer nur vertröstet. Ich werde jetzt rechtliche Schritte einleiten. Eine absolut unseriöse Plattform.

Upon calling they told us there was an availability issue however instead of contacting us they decided to wait it out. After then telling us to wait 15 mins to resolve we are now waiting 45mins and counting…

They say you can cancel a few days before you travel however their customer service phone people are worse than useless when you call to cancel. You can only cancel via a link on the travel voucher that they send you but that link …….DOESNT WORK ! When this is explained to them they then keep on repeating the same mantra ‘ the client has to cancel from their end via the link in the voucher ‘ ……despite the fact that the link doesn’t work ! So catch 22, link doesn’t work but customer service are of no use whatsoever as they say they cannot cancel from their end……..so what exactly is the point of having a customer service helpline when they don’t …..HELP ? There is obviously a reason that they are often one of the cheapest booking sites……. You pay for what you get ! Be warned, their cancellation policy is worthless !

People calling this company scammers, fraudsters, conmen, it’s true! It’s just happened to me! £711 they owe me and they are refusing to refund the amount and honour the cancellation policy. No company gets 3 stars without a reason. There is a common pattern of customers not being refunded! FRAUDSTERS…

In my last review they advised me it was with the finance department and this has still not being processed I booked on 27/07/2024 and cancelled booking on 27/07/2024 was promised refund of £523.79in 3-5 business days. Almost 12 weeks no refund yet. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR BOOKING. YOU WILL FOR SURE REGRET IT. 21/10/2024 No refund has still been credited to my account l. I have sent multiple emails. Other then empty words no action. To add to it now being informed it was already credited and I have had through check of my statement but there is no refund. Continues to hold money for a refund which was promised within 5 working days.

United Kingdom | 09 October 2024Don’t use this company! I paid for two rooms, came to the hotel and only one room was confirmed. Luckily the hotel had one extra room for us. So we had to pay another £188. Presigia said they would refund us but still nothing after 2 months. Scammers!
