Il 3 luglio ho deciso di cancellarla e nonostante rientrassi nel periodo di rimborso completo e dovendo esso avvenire nei 3-5 giorni lavorativi, ad oggi 15 luglio dopo ben 2 settimane ancora non si è visto alcun rimborso. Contattando l'assistenza solo rassicurazioni vaghe come: stiamo processando il rimborso. Chiedo un'azione da parte di Prestigia per avere il rimborso al più presto

United Kingdom | 15 July 2024Unprofessional, unhelpful and false advertising – do not use Prestigia! I booked a 5 Star cancellable hotel in Turkey through Prestgia, the terms of which were 10% upfront payment in GBP with the balance payable in EUR to the hotel directly on arrival. This was also stated on the confirmation email received from Prestigia. On the expiry of the cancellation period, which was about 2 weeks before my stay at the hotel, my credit card was charged the full 90% balance. The credit card is not meant for foreign currency use due to which I was charged a high fee for this by the credit card company. Also, because my credit card was charged 2 weeks early, the charge fell into the current month rather than the next month had it been charged on arrival. This resulted in me having to settle the credit card bill a month earlier than I should have had to. On raising this with Prestigia they said it was the hotel that had charged the balance to my card and there was nothing they could do. Despite explaining to Prestiga that they had advertised the booking as balance payable on arrival and confirmed the same to me in their booking confirmation email, they refused to do anything about the issue. They also refused to accept that they had falsely advertised the terms of the booking. I even suggested that they contact the hotel and arrange for a refund and provide them with my other credit card instead, which did not have a penalty for foreign currency transactions, but they totally ignored this as well, not even bothering to explain why they could not do this. I even suggested that they should at the very least reimburse me for the foreign currency charge but again, this was ignored. After an exasperating and futile lengthy exchange of emails with Prestigia customer services, I got fed up and asked for details of their official complaints procedure. I did not get a response to this question at first and when I continued to chase for one, I was still not given a copy of their official complaints policy and process and was simply told to submit any complaint to the general reservation email address. Any other reputable website would have immediately offered a reimbursement of the charge on my card plus an additional sum for the inconvenience caused as this was entirely and completely the fault of Prestiga. No such thing from Prestigia though, which says it all!

United Kingdom | 15 July 2024***EDIT: Presitigia reply is requesting the booking confirmation number which I will not disclose here because it contains my surname and therefore personal information which I refuse to dislose. Rest assured I have been e-mailing Pretigia reservation team regularly and am being given the same stock reply that it is being dealt with despite zero evidence that it is. I will also draw you attention to the Article 17 request to be forgotten under GDPR which I submitted to Prestigia on 15th July and to which they have 1 month to confirm all of my personal information is deleted so that they can not sell my information on*** I found Prestigia via a search for price and availability for a 3-night stay at a specific UK hotel for late July on Kayak.com. They offered a very competitive price, which in hindsight was the usual too good to be true. After confirming and paying for the booking on 28 June I received the usual booking confirmation e-mail. As this was a new name in hotel bookings to me I decided a few days later to contact the hotel directly to double check that the booking had come through. As feared the booking did not exist with the hotel. The hotel was very helpful in trying to find this booking with me. Both the hotel and I contacted the reservations team at Prestigia to obtain the confirmation code for the booking. I was given reassurance that the booking existed and that the code the hotel needed just needed to be confirmed and sent through from Pretigia's 3rd party room provider (Presitiga claims it uses a broker). Prestigia refused to disclose to me who this 3rd-party room provider was , but I learned from the hotel that it is a company called Destination of the World. Despite repeated e-mails from both me and the hotel to Prestigia's reservation team between 3-4th July, no code or booking emerged even though Prestigia kept offering reassurances the booking existed. After no change to the status of the query or confirmation that any hotel booking was made - despite Prestigia taking my money - I cancelled the reservation on 5th July. This was ample time before the dates of the hotel stay to ensure I obtained a full refund. A confirmation of cancellation came through from Prestigia and advised the full refund would happen within 3 to 5 business days. On the 6th business day after cancellation I have still not been refunded my money. I contacted Prestigia reservations again to determine the status of the refund and was again 'reassured' that the refund was in process. I was advised in their response that refunds actually took 10 to 15 working days to process despite the initial e-mail reassuring that it would take 3 to 5 working days. Making matters even worse - they advised the delay was because my booking was in progress with the hotel at the time of cancellation on 5th July. This claim is in direct contradiction to the booking confirmation e-mail I received on 28 June. I am afraid I can only conclude that this is not a legitimate and law-abiding business. They have committed both fraud and theft. I have made a Section 75 request to recover the money through my credit card company and will be filing a complaint with the ombudsman. If Prestigia want to respond to this review - please go ahead by all means - I can provide all e-mails as evidence that fraud and theft has been committed by your organisation.

Spain | 11 July 2024Buenas tardes, Yo tenía una reserva en un hotel, que al final he anulado. Al anular me mandaron un correo que decía que en un plazo de 24/72 horas me harían el reembolso . Al tardar más días envié un correo comentando que no he había llegado . Me contestaron que a veces tarda unos días más y que el correo era orientativo. Finalmente me ingresaron el dinero de vuelta hace dos días. Una tranquilidad.

United Kingdom | 11 July 2024I went though Trivago to book a hotel for 19 people. With it being a large group I was happy to find that prestigia gave a fair price for a rather nice hotel. After paying the full amount in total and reading a few reviews before hand, I contacted the hotel direct to ensure the booking confirmation to find that 2 of the rooms hadn’t been booked. I would never have found this out if I didn’t do my due diligence and 6 of the 19 wouldn’t have had a room. After many back and forth over wanting a refund the best they could do is book an alternative hotel. They thought it was acceptable to have a 19 minute walk between the original hotel and the seperate accommodation. Overall the experience I’ve had through prestigia was poor and I shall avoid booking through this website again.

I was promised a full refund within 3 business days, but still after more than ONE WEEK no refund. Customer service just replied, that it is "currently being processed".No further information or explanation given. AVOID booking with Prestigia!

United States | 03 July 2024Ami en lo personal me fue muy mal con esta empresa, reserve en febrero pa el mez de abril dia de mi cumpleaños, un viaje familiar pa las vegas y llegando al hotel que no tenia reservado nada, y ya se avian cobrado de mi tarjeta, y aparte tuve que pagar mas de lo doble 😠 la verdad que no la recomiendo ni la volvería a usar muy mal experiencia

They should consider doing this faster tu build up more trust in their customers. The contact with customer care via email was very good though and they were very kind and reactive. It worked well in the end and the refund has been credited successfully.

United Kingdom | 29 June 2024Do not book with this company. I wish I had read the overwhelming reviews on here before I had done so. They are basically a 4th party who sell rooms on behalf of Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, etc.and have no clue whether rooms are available or not. Total scam I booked and paid for a room at a cost of £279 having looked on Tripadvisor and seeing their deal was the only one available. My money was taken immediately by Prestigia Gibraltar. Says everything really. When I contacted the hotel directly they said they had no record of my booking and that they were in fact full for the night of my stay. Prestigia then said the hotel had no availablilty due to my last minute booking. Totally irrelevant. Their booking agent Amina was particularly ill advised, inexperienced and should not be allowed to operate in this industry without proper training. They then tried to offer me inferior hotels (clearly through their partner!) which were £100 a night cheaper. Tripadvisor should not allow them to advertise on their site - absolutely criminal. I am now destined for a lengthy battle to recover my money. Wish me luck!

United States | 28 June 2024There are many 3rd party hotel booking services, but Prestigia.com is really a 4th party booking service. This means that they do not book with the hotel for you, they really book with another less expensive booking service such as Agoda.com on your behalf. The first thing this means is that you overpaid for your reservation compared to if you had booked with the other booking agent directly. This also runs into problems when you need to make changes, cancel, get refunds etc, because you get beautiful lip service from Prestigia that they are doing everything they can, while the real booking agent does nothing on your behalf to resolve the problem. I had booked the wrong date for a hotel stay a week in advance and realized it 2 hours after booking it. 3 days later, I was still getting the same song and dance from Prestigia and Agoda, while the hotel itself was more than willing to make the change all along. Despite Prestigia saying that they contacted the hotel and were told that they could not change the reservation, THEY did nothing. I had given them the name of the hotel reservations manager who for 3 days said she would change the reservation for them. Neither they nor Agora contacted the hotel, nor each other and they intended to let the matter die. Thank goodness the hotel honored my request despite the two middle guys who do nothing but profit from the reservation. Again, I was not looking to cancel, just change to one day earlier. DON'T USE PRESTIGIA.COM!!!!!
